I gave 1 star because there is no option to rate lower. I rented an apartment through this office with Michel, who now has his own business and only accepts his own clients through this office. At first everything seemed okay, but here's what happened: 1. The apartment was in a terrible condition, full of mouse droppings. 2. I cleaned it myself because they couldn't find anyone over the weekend. 3. During my stay, I had problems with mice and wasps because they refused to do anything about it. They even entered my home without permission to fix something. 4. They didn't update the energy costs, causing me to pay more than necessary. 5. When I moved out, they only offered me one specific day and time because, according to them, it was too much trouble to adjust the schedule. 6. They charged me for cleaning and repairs that I did not cause. 7. Despite providing proof in the form of photos, they have not fully returned my deposit, which was more than 1500 euros... Although they claim to be honest and legal Dutch people, they exclude international renters.

We viewed an apartment in Overveen and the photos of the rental apartment did not at all match reality. The kitchen was only half as big as in the photos and the cabinets, countertop, etc., were different and quite old-fashioned. There was no dishwasher, while there was one in the photos, and moreover, there was no space to put it! In the photos, there was a bed and a wardrobe in the bedroom, but in reality there was only one bed with about 30 cm of space on each side, and that was it. I do not want to be rude, but it felt a bit like a scam.

A week ago I found my room through real estate agent Michel Van Eck. The whole process goes quickly. From the house inspection up to and including signing the contract, everything is professionally and well organized. My basic questions are treated with the greatest patience and there is sincere communication, which removes all my doubts about the house. So far everything has been good, nice real estate agent and quick approval. Good communication with the helpdesk. The price is all-inclusive, but I wish we could choose our own electricity/gas/cable providers. Otherwise a solid company.

1 star is quite generous. Robert is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered in a professional capacity. Don't come near this company with a stick. I tried to file a complaint about Robert's behavior and manner, but he advised: 'I think we better end this conversation, because it spoils my cheerful mood.' That's what happens when you break people down and then don't even pass on the complaint to your management. Pure disgrace.

Multiple times, I have posted reactions on houses via this website. I was hopefully waiting for an answer but never received anything. Also, no confirmation of my requests. For the rest, I have never gotten any response on their phone. So I would not expect that from this "real estate agency" either. Very sorry, it seemed like a nice offer. So I am just afraid that it is all fake.

The only reason I give this so-called company one star, is because I had reasonably good experiences with finding a housing. But moving was a real nightmare. Not only were they extremely rude when they tried to plan a viewing EVERY DAY from 9 to 5, but this would also take ONE MONTH. VERY unprofessional real estate agents who didn't even show up to greet customers. VERY rude and had no respect for privacy. But the real nail in the coffin was when they charged me 400 euros from my deposit, claiming that they had to clean the apartment (which was no bigger than one bedroom). That is 400 euros... terrible, deceitful business. I hope my experience keeps you from the same misery. - Peace

Dear Sasha, I'm glad to hear that you were satisfied with our help in finding a home. You hired us to find one and we tried our best to do so. After we found a home, our service ended there... Unfortunately, you are now blaming us for your conversation with the landlord, something we have no influence over. The only parties responsible for the deposit or the clean handover of a rental property are the landlord and the tenant. We have no say in that. However, when former customers come to us because they feel treated poorly by a particular landlord, we always try to help them. You did not contact us in this case, so we were unable to assist you. For that reason, we find your public complaint unjustified.
