I have had mixed experiences with NOVA Housing. At the beginning, the rental process went smoothly and the apartment met the description. However, after the end of the rental period, problems arose. After my move-out, an official final inspection was carried out by their agent and I received confirmation that the apartment had been left in good condition and no problems were detected. Nevertheless, today, almost three months later, I was unexpectedly informed of alleged cleaning issues and items that were left behind in a storage room in the basement which I never used and to which I even had no access. At the same time, there were significant delays and inconsistencies regarding the settlement of the utilities. Although it clearly states in the contract that payments for utilities are advance payments which are settled afterwards, the process has been slow and unclear, with constantly changing explanations. Overall, the communication was inconsistent and the handling of the process after the end of the rental period felt unprofessional and unnecessarily complicated. I would advise future tenants to carefully document everything (especially meter readings and inspections) and to record all communication in writing.

A very unprofessional company. A recommendation for future tenants: check the documents of the initial and final inspection very carefully, because they try to overcharge you. Although they charge €250 for the final cleaning, they can add extra costs.

Terrible service, asks for too much information and gives no discount, not even when the combined salary is sufficient. Avoid this at all costs if you value your sanity and time.

They are extremely unprofessional, extremely incompetent and pushy. They operate more like a data mining company, since many of the questions they ask go far beyond what is needed to verify tenants. It was a terrible experience having to deal with them and the application process. They are extremely unprofessional. Keep in mind that all information they collect (and that is excessive) makes you vulnerable to fraud and online scams, because they collect way too many personal details. THEY HAD THE BRUTALITY TO ASK FOR A DIGITAL PHOTO OF YOUR CREDIT CARD! While they do not accept credit card payments for the rental. It feels suspicious... be careful with what you send these people!
