After the official appraisal of our new house, they promised to come by our old house the following week on Thursday or Friday for a free value appraisal as agreed over the phone. However, they didn't show up on Thursday. So I called Friday morning to see what was going on. The man who answered the phone was in the car and promised to call back as soon as he was at the office to still fulfill the appointment. Now 1.5 months later, he still has to call back.....

Had an appraisal carried out for the valuation of a new-build property. The value was determined, however based on a quote from the construction company. For this, 550 euros was charged. Later it turned out that this valuation was too superficial. The bank did not agree with this method of valuation. Recently I confronted the real estate agent about this and his statement was 'I have done my job and if the report is unusable, that's a shame'. This realtor seems friendly, but when I asked critical questions he became grumpy and always passed the ball back to me. Apparently money is more important.

Very helpful company - I would recommend Rotsvast to everyone, especially Sten, who was always very generous with his market knowledge and quick communication. It took a while before I found the right place due to the current market, but I am very happy with the end result.

It was a good experience. They sat down and explained everything in English, went through the contract and then showed us the house, taking pictures together to document the condition of the house. A downside was that they didn't introduce us to the owners. We haven't met the owners yet. I waited to leave a review after we had the chance to meet the landlord, but it’s been a year now and since I haven't had any bad experiences with the owners, I decided to leave a review anyway. If I could give zero stars, I would. Rotsvast was during my search for accommodation in Leeuwarden only unhelpful, rejecting and downright rude. I was homeless for a whole MONTH desperately looking for a place. Despite visiting their office several times, they could only tell me: 'send an email'. Guess what happened after sending those emails? A generic response: 'Not suitable for you because you are a student.' What makes it even worse is that for some of the more expensive properties, you had no problem renting to students. So it's not about being a student, but about profiting from people who are desperately looking for housing. And then the cherry on top: after my friend left a one-star review, you had the audacity to call me and ask why I gave you a bad review. Here is your answer: because your service is terrible. You didn't help me when I needed it most, you made an already stressful situation even worse, and you have proven that you care more about appearances than actually helping people. Absolutely avoid this agency if you value your time, money and common sense.

EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED about these people and their way of doing business. We had 2 viewings through them in the same building at Oostergoweg 2 in Leeuwarden for a studio. During the first viewing, we already discussed that we wanted to rent a studio. After agreeing on the 2nd viewing today, we wanted to have the room, but suddenly we had to pay 450 administrative costs. We had difficulty with this and then agreed on an amount of 295,-- excluding VAT, while yesterday a good acquaintance rented from them with administrative costs of 165.28 excluding VAT. After giving our agreement at their office via email, they would prepare the rental contracts. And we were supposed to receive them late in the afternoon (which was initially 14:30). Then we drove around Leeuwarden a bit from 12:15 and received an email saying it wouldn't happen, while the property owners completely trust their real estate agent who is being completely misinformed about the future tenant. Responded and acted quickly after the Liander technician found a small gas leak. Current rental property found quite quickly (for this time on the housing market) via Friened.

Mr. had us evicted from our house after we repeatedly complained that our shower doors were falling off. Apparently, you're not supposed to complain about that AND you can then be threatened at your own door by this filthy guy! 5 months and a lawyer later, I finally got the deposit back which was mysteriously not paid out. No good words for this nasty guy!!
