It was a good experience. They sat down and explained everything in English, went through the contract and then showed us the house, taking pictures together to document the condition of the house. A downside was that they didn't introduce us to the owners. We haven't met the owners yet. I waited to leave a review after we had the chance to meet the landlord, but it’s been a year now and since I haven't had any bad experiences with the owners, I decided to leave a review anyway. If I could give zero stars, I would. Rotsvast was during my search for accommodation in Leeuwarden only unhelpful, rejecting and downright rude. I was homeless for a whole MONTH desperately looking for a place. Despite visiting their office several times, they could only tell me: 'send an email'. Guess what happened after sending those emails? A generic response: 'Not suitable for you because you are a student.' What makes it even worse is that for some of the more expensive properties, you had no problem renting to students. So it's not about being a student, but about profiting from people who are desperately looking for housing. And then the cherry on top: after my friend left a one-star review, you had the audacity to call me and ask why I gave you a bad review. Here is your answer: because your service is terrible. You didn't help me when I needed it most, you made an already stressful situation even worse, and you have proven that you care more about appearances than actually helping people. Absolutely avoid this agency if you value your time, money and common sense.

EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED about these people and their way of doing business. We had 2 viewings through them in the same building at Oostergoweg 2 in Leeuwarden for a studio. During the first viewing, we already discussed that we wanted to rent a studio. After agreeing on the 2nd viewing today, we wanted to have the room, but suddenly we had to pay 450 administrative costs. We had difficulty with this and then agreed on an amount of 295,-- excluding VAT, while yesterday a good acquaintance rented from them with administrative costs of 165.28 excluding VAT. After giving our agreement at their office via email, they would prepare the rental contracts. And we were supposed to receive them late in the afternoon (which was initially 14:30). Then we drove around Leeuwarden a bit from 12:15 and received an email saying it wouldn't happen, while the property owners completely trust their real estate agent who is being completely misinformed about the future tenant.
