Update: Real estate agent sentenced to repay deposit, statutory interest and all legal costs (double what he would have paid if he had transferred the deposit properly). In addition, he must also transfer €2600 in service charges that I overpaid. (Also an official ruling from the rental committee) This provides some extra context to the realtor's hypocritical reaction to this review. See photos for a response to the realtor’s reply to this review. Very bad experiences with this real estate agent. Agreed on a rent of €880 for 45 m2, it was initially supposed to be €800 but another potential tenant apparently offered €880 spontaneously. I could get the apartment if I put down the same amount because I had the 'favorite factor'. In my enthusiasm, I said yes, which turned out to be a terrible choice afterwards. After a few months, I asked if I could end the contract earlier due to nuisance, which was not possible (which is fine in itself but this fact is relevant later, as I had to rent for at least one year). Then I was approached by Bumarang bv from Groningen, they apparently represent tenants who are paying too much according to their calculations and can initiate proceedings with the rental committee. Somewhat hesitant, I started this process because I was clearly paying far too much. They contacted Schreinemachers to announce that they were going to start a case at the rental committee; I received an email from Schreinemache about an hour later asking if I wanted to end the contract immediately (which wasn’t actually possible :)) because they didn't want legal proceedings. Of course, I did not agree with this. Long story short, I paid €800 in base rent plus €80 in service charges. After a visit from the committee, which measured everything in the apartment, the base rent turned out to be +/- €440. Quite a difference, and then there were still €80 in service charges for heating and €200 in service charges for water. These service charges can subsequently be reclaimed if it turns out that I, as a tenant, have not completely consumed these costs. The next unusual point was the rent increase that Schreinem tried to implement; after intervention from Bumarang, this increase proved to be unfounded and just a random amount. Bumarang clearly instructed Schreinemachers how much he was allowed to increase, and then Schreinemachers dutifully adopted it. The latest, so far, scam action by Schreinemachers is the non-repayment of €880 deposit after the final inspection which has already taken place (I have since moved out). Mr. Schreinemache had a document with him regarding the final inspection; there were no defects and we both signed it. Because I knew things wouldn’t end easily, I clearly asked Schreinemachers when I could expect the deposit. 'This week or next week.' That was until I received an email from Schreinemachers the next day containing a ‘final settlement’, asking me to agree to €950 (deposit plus overpaid service charges) and that would settle everything. Of course, I said no because, as explained earlier, I can expect to reclaim far more service charges than those paltry +/- €80. Besides, the deposit is separate from this; I should definitely receive it since we both signed the document and he also made a verbal commitment. There’s no reason to think that I owe him any costs for 2023 given that I already had to get back €80 for 2022. After I sent 'no' as an answer, Schreinemachers apparently felt his ego was wounded; suddenly, Mr. didn’t want to transfer the deposit anymore while he wanted to settle it himself about three hours earlier via email. After some back-and-forth emails (also from Bumarang, who stated that Schreinemachers was very unprofessional), Schreinemachers would like to proceed with a debt collection process which will be started as soon as he doesn’t pay within the intended timeframe.

However, out of a sense of security, we decided to put everything on 'pause' in consultation. Ingrid Ververs completely understood this. After more than a year, we decided to try again and gave Real Estate Agent Ingrid Ververs the assignment to sell our beloved house. We disregarded the craziness in the housing market. It was much more important to us that a buyer who fit into the neighborhood would be found. This was quickly achieved. From here, everything went very fast and Ingrid Ververs completed everything to our satisfaction. I don't recognize at all what some people are writing negatively here. We have interest in a property, called yesterday and they immediately picked up the phone. Later in the afternoon we were immediately called back and we are now waiting for an appointment to view. So far everything is going well and as it should. I always say: You don't get a 2nd chance for a 1st impression and that was simply good with this office. Everyone is allowed to give their opinion and everyone will personally experience what they think of a company and want to share their experiences based on that. I do that myself too, because this week we also had a bad experience with a real estate agent from South Limburg and I wrote about that in another review. What I find very strange here on this site is that someone suddenly decides years later to share their negative experience on this site, while you normally would do that within a short time after the experience. Why would you suddenly start sharing your bad experience on this site years later???? I find it all very strange, but doesn't mean we are simply very satisfied. But well, everyone their own opinion.

Well, here exactly the same experience, unfortunately. Nothing of your high customer satisfaction score to be noticed! When Ingrid arrived at the house (10 minutes late) the positive atmosphere that was there completely turned around. Never encountered such a distant cold person, we were looked at with a disapproving look as if Mrs. had never seen a person with a tattoo before. In 5 minutes quickly through the house, no explanation anywhere. Then we got the form pushed under our noses which we could fill in if interested, Mrs. asked about our incomes... I was really stunned. Prior to the viewing, email contact was had with Ingrid about the house, she could respond to my emails within the hour 3 times but when I asked what the rental requirements were, she never responded to my emails again! The viewing was more than a week later!!!!! So, we tell our incomes again, causing her to laugh and very nonchalantly indicate that at least by one person 3x the monthly rent amount must be earned. I don’t know what you think I have for a job but no, I do not earn 3,000 per month. When I ask why she didn't respond to my email where I asked what the requirements were, she laughs it off and starts talking about something else! Then we wouldn’t have had to take time off work! Whole afternoon for nothing. Then she also still made the great comment that we should go rent a cheap house and apply for rental allowance. I have never felt so offended, what a treacherous trick to simply let us come anyway! Ugh, left with such a strange feeling from the house, had stomach ache from it all day. Purely because of the disastrous experience with this real estate agent, I won’t even try to make another chance for the house! What a nasty person!
