Een hele fijne Makelaar om mee samen te werken. Denkt goed mee en verdiept zich erg goed in de markt.
Topervaring! De makelaar is zeer deskundig, reageert snel en heeft perfect geholpen met alle documentatie. Hij is uitstekend op de hoogte van de markt. Zeer tevreden over de hele gang van zaken!
I consciously chose a smaller broker for the personal approach. He guided me well through the process. So, a good choice made. Well informed about the market! My house was sold within 3 weeks!
I had engaged Mathieu Paul to prepare a valuation report for my property. He had forgotten to take photos of the attic and asked me if I could do that. Since I had to pay € 800.00 for this report, I thought a discount would be appropriate. He was able to offer a € 20.00 discount. For that amount, I thought it better that he come take the photos himself, and he did so after first threatening to return the assignment. This wasn't an option, I think, because VOF Huurlingsedam was the client, not myself. When he came to take these two photos, he still wanted to know why I couldn’t do it myself, that he always likes to be in good contact with people and always tries not to overdo the valuation. Now? It was an unpleasant experience for me.

Not to assert my correctness, because it’s not about being right but about each other's interpretation, but precisely out of respect. Because silence could also convey something that I wouldn’t want: as if I don’t care what you think of it. On the contrary, that is why I would still like to give a brief explanation. You selected me from a list of appraisers, as prescribed by the rules for this type of appraisal. The landowner/developer is the client for the appraisal. I understand that € 800 is a lot of money. At the same time, I would also like to explain, as you know, that you pay half of that and the landowner/developer pays the other half. This too is arranged in the regulations. When I discovered that a photo of the attic was missing, something that happens very occasionally and is usually resolved by the owner or resident who then sends me that little photo via WhatsApp, I contacted you and asked if you could take two photos of the attic. You did not agree with this; it was my job, and in principle you are also right about that. You asked if there would be a discount included. I was surprised because I had never experienced this before and suggested a €20 discount. That didn't meet your wishes, after which you indicated that I should just come by myself for the photo of the attic. Which I did the next day. The tone of our contact at that moment, which I did not experience as pleasant and surprised me, made me suggest giving back the assignment if necessary. Not out of resistance, and not as a pressure tactic but because I genuinely believe in pleasant cooperation without hassle and with trust in each other. During my visit for the forgotten photo, I tried to express things to each other, to understand what the feeling was for you and for me, to clear the air. Apparently that didn’t succeed. What I also mentioned then is that I like to deal with people in a pleasant way and that I carry out my appraisal fairly. By that I mean getting to an honest appraisal without exaggerating. That applies to every assignment and that's what I stand behind in this situation as well.
