Recently, we purchased a property that was for sale through Mr. Frieswijk. This concerned a well-maintained house built around 2000. Until now, Mr. Frieswijk had been a very friendly real estate agent with whom we felt comfortable. Within 2 weeks after the transfer of ownership, we experienced a significant roof leak. After reporting the leak to Mr. Frieswijk, he played the card that it had never happened before and was an isolated incident. Less than one and a half weeks later, we again experienced a roof leak. When I indicated that this was no longer an isolated incident but indeed a defect, the atmosphere changed with Mr. Frieswijk. Mr. Frieswijk turned into a very unfriendly party who adopted a lecturing role. In our opinion, there was a deliberate search for a non-constructive solution through unpleasant tone both by phone and in emails. It has become clear that Mr. Frieswijk is only a pleasant person when everything goes well. If this is not the case, Mr. Frieswijk turns into a very unfriendly and also unreliable party with whom you can no longer do business. Conclusion, think carefully and carry out a thorough inspection before purchasing a property through Mr. Frieswijk. We will definitely never buy another property through this real estate agent.
