Pararius could be better named “Only for Students”. The platform is completely meaningless for regular housing seekers. Day in and day out, only houses with the note 'only for students' are put online. Even with a paid Pararius Plus account, you get no fair chance and not a bit of transparency. The only time I got a viewing was for a house that literally was about to collapse. This platform gives the impression of arbitrariness and unequal treatment. Absolutely disappointing and certainly not a recommendation for anyone seriously looking for a decent home.

Looking for a room or a rental house? I really looked everything up but kept ending up at Pararius with the best and most current and complete offering! A relief for me after all the other websites I had visited. Keep up the good work!

Don't tell anything at all. It costs a lot and then you get the worst service in the Netherlands. My partner and I had responded to a house and we would hear something within 2 days. We are not emailed or called, so we call and email ourselves. Nothing is clear and no one can help us. Then a week later, we see that it's been rented out. So there you have it, that premium bullshit.

As a letting agent, we have been working with Pararius & Pararius office for several years now. We are always well supported, proactively helped and kept up to date. Keep it up!

I gave two stars because I want to be nice. Where do we start? *1 euro and then 29 to pay. Know that if you do this with the thought that you will cancel before the end of the month, you're completely wrong. They charge you 29 at the end of the month anyway, even if you cancel your subscription earlier. *You find a house on the website, you call and they say it's already booked, and then there's another house that's three times as expensive. I'm stopping here, I don't feel like writing anymore. Too nervous. Thieves.

The website is nothing more than a bulletin board for real estate agents. You pay 19 euros per month for Pararius (why? Just for an e-mail newsletter!) and then you pay each real estate office separately if you want to request a viewing. Requesting via Pararius is fictitious. There are even property advertisements that have long been full of viewings, old advertisements thus. Just a lure for real estate agents.

Do not rent via Top Select Visit or Top Select Housing! I live in Amsterdam and my mother (who lives in the US) and I had a terrible experience with this company. My mother had signed a short-term lease agreement starting in September 2020. However, due to the travel ban between the US and Europe related to COVID-19, she could not travel. In July 2020, she contacted the company to inquire about their cancellation policy and whether she would get her deposit (2500 euros) back if the travel ban was not lifted. It took almost a month for the company to respond that she would not get her deposit back because she had cancelled less than 60 days in advance, but that she could use the deposit for another rental property in the future. The possibility of using the deposit for another apartment in 2021 is also mentioned in the email. (Although I knew that this was happening, I did not know the name of the company and also knew nothing about the apartment she had rented.) Now that travel between the US and Europe is again allowed, my mother has planned a new trip. I looked for an apartment for her and found one that happened to be managed by this company. When they sent us the lease contract draft, I forwarded it to my mother for review. At that moment she realized not only was the company the same, but also the same apartment. I contacted the company and told them about this development. I said that we wanted to use the deposit for this new lease agreement. THEY SAID THAT THIS WAS NOT POSSIBLE. The reasons they gave us for not allowing us to use the deposit were: 1) They believed that we had manipulated the situation to be able to rent the same apartment again. (We had not done that.) 2) When it became clear that the company would not return the deposit in 2020, despite the travel ban which my mother had no control over, my mother sent a message stating that she did not want to go forward with them anymore. The company believes this invalidates their offer to use the deposit for another rental property. (That is not true. I have checked with a lawyer.) 3) The company says they did not need to honor the deposit because my mother had paid the first deposit in 2020 and because I arranged the new lease agreement. (Although they knew that I was arranging the rental for my mother, that she would be paying the rent and her name and details were also on the lease contract draft.) Furthermore, the company threatened legal action if I posted a negative review on social media. My mother and I have decided not to pursue this further and we will never again do business with this company or recommend it to anyone. The way this situation was handled, the fact that the company accused us of manipulating the situation to get our deposit back, the rudeness of the man I spoke with, and their refusal to work with us to find a solution to actually use the deposit, are more than enough reasons for me to conclude that this company is unprofessional and dishonest.

Pararius is an enormous fine and reliable party to offer all my buy and sell offers of homes. I appreciate it very much that the homes are almost immediately visible on the website after registering via the CRM system. Also, I find the search functions clear and the overall image of good quality. The cherry on top is the semi-annual report with numbers about the average registration duration, speed of rental, average prices, etc. This gives me a good picture of where my company stands in comparison to the conculega's in Amsterdam and surroundings.

Today, while I was trying to sleep, my baby cried, like all normal babies of their age, nervously and unceasingly at my bell to tell my husband that he was trying to rent a house and it seemed too noisy for the tenants. The next time something so intimidating and intrusive to our privacy happens, I will report you to the authorities for unacceptable and inhumane behavior.

A good place to search for apartments in the complex rental market of Amsterdam. Absolutely a better search option than other available options so far. It would be nice if advertisers/real estate agents were asked to remove advertisements as soon as an apartment is rented out. I've already seen a number where the advertisements remain and the real estate agent then shares a more expensive advertisement via e-mail. Advertisers/real estate agents should also be required to state the actual rent price instead of a lower price to pass through the filters and then put extra costs in the description. This is misleading and undermines trust. Finally, the search filters still need to be improved. For example, the price filter disappears when additional filters are added in the 'more' section. Of course, the price filter can be re-added, but it's annoying to have to do this repeatedly.

Be warned about this company! The company was recommended to us by our real estate agent and we rented a house in the center for almost 2 years. We are not often at home due to our careers. After we left, we were treated like a couple of students who had completely 'ruined' an Airbnb in a week. When I pointed out to Hoofse Huis that I did not find their tone sympathetic, Margot told me she works for the landlord and it doesn't matter to her if a tenant finds her nice. We are very disappointed in this company, we have paid more than € 35.000 rent in almost 2 years and were treated very disrespectfully. Moreover, we only got back part of the deposit without them having provided an invoice for the alleged cleaning services.

I moved to Maastricht from another country. Throughout the entire process, Het Hoofse Huis acted efficiently, effectively and always on time. The staff was extremely professional and we could carry out the entire process in English, including English versions of the relevant documentation. They could arrange viewings at times that suited me and made sure I got what I was looking for. They also offered extra services (arranging the electricity connection, internet, etc.) at a reasonable fee; things that you might find difficult to do yourself if you have just arrived. Extremely disrespectful personal and terrible treatment of customers, often very unprofessional: unbelievable.

I can, 100% sincerely, say that Het Hoofse Huis is the first and perhaps also the only real estate agency in Maastricht where I have experienced such an incredibly helpfulness and friendliness. Nadat ik was verhuisd, heb ik verschillende aanbieders voor mijn nieuwe woning vergeleken en ontdekte ik dat het personeel van Het Hoofse Huis een van de duurste had gekozen! Ik betaalde een heel jaar na mijn verhuizing nog steeds rekeningen af. Het personeel was er ook van op de hoogte dat er soms elektrisch water door de kraan in de badkamer liep! Elektrisch water! Het feit dat ze hier niets over zeiden, laat zien dat het ze echt niets kon schelen. Ze vroegen zelfs een borgsom van het dubbele van de huur, wat eigenlijk illegaal is, zoals een ander woningbureau me vertelde. Ik heb mijn borg trouwens nog steeds niet teruggekregen en zal dat waarschijnlijk ook niet krijgen. Ik raad dit woningbureau niemand aan, maar ik raad het appartement aan Wilhelminasingel 73 D al helemaal niemand aan. Ik heb er spijt van gehad dat ik daar heb gewoond en ik weet zeker dat iedereen dat ook zal hebben.

We have already worked with this real estate agency more than once and do not work with other real estate agencies. Yes, real estate agencies can have a bad reputation, and ... no, this should not fall under that. For many reasons we prefer to work with them exclusively and not with other real estate agencies. In other words, I can wholeheartedly recommend this real estate agency.
