Update naar aanleiding van de reactie van Fryslan Homes: Deze 2 situaties zouden, zoals omschreven, in het voordeel uitvallen van Fryslan Homes en mijn review (deels ontkrachten) helaas weerspiegelt dit niet de realiteit van de situaties die zich hebben voorgedaan en er wordt moedwillig een vertekend beeld geschetst. Ook gaat deze review niet over 2 kortstondige situaties maar over een tal van interacties over de termijn van 2 jaar. Hoewel ik niet inhoudelijk zal ingaan op specifieke zaken uit ons dossier, aangezien deze niet op dit platform thuishoren, wil ik wel benadrukken dat de manier van reageren, naar mijn mening, onprofessioneel is. Deze reactie bevestigt helaas wat ik eerder al beschreef: Fryslan Homes lijkt moeite te hebben met het erkennen van fouten en schuwt het niet om zichzelf te beschermen, zelfs als dit betekent dat ze de grenzen van de AVG wetgeving overschrijden. Het zou Fryslan Homes gesierd hebben als ze erkend hadden dat hun handelen afbreuk heeft gedaan aan ons woongenot. Tot slot illustreert de reactie opnieuw de autoritaire houding van Fryslan Homes. Zodra ze worden uitgedaagd, lijken ze bereid alles te doen om hun reputatie te beschermen. Originele review: Onze ervaring als huurders bij Fryslan Homes over een periode van twee jaar was een verhaal van voornamelijk negatieven. Aan de ene kant waren de processen van aanmelding, sleuteloverdracht, eindinspectie en de uiteindelijke uitbetaling opvallend efficiënt. Echter, deze positieve noten stonden in scherp contrast met onze dagelijkse ervaringen, die overwegend negatief waren. De interactie met Fryslan Homes was vaak uitdagend, gemarkeerd door onbereikbaarheid en een onpersoonlijke, autoritaire benadering. Het leek alsof de focus vooral lag op het dienen van eigen belangen, met minimale aandacht voor de behoeften en het welzijn van ons als huurders. Deze houding creëerde een aanzienlijke kloof, versterkt door wat leek op een professionele tunnelvisie binnen een groot deel van de organisatie. Gesprekken werden benaderd met een vooraf bepaalde negativiteit en een gebrek aan flexibiliteit, wat duidde op een ernstig tekort aan empathie en klantgerichtheid. De noodzaak om direct contact op te nemen met de eigenaar, een stap die we uiteindelijk namen, benadrukte het falen van Fryslan Homes om haar fundamentele rol te vervullen: het faciliteren van een positieve woon- en verhuurervaring. Dit alles benadrukt voor mij een belangrijke kwestie: de relatie tussen huurder en verhuurmakelaar is delicaat. Hoewel een huurder (juridisch) stevig in zijn schoenen staat, is er inherent een mate van afhankelijkheid die respect en transparantie vereist. Onze ervaring toont aan dat Fryslan Homes hierin tekortschoot, wat een negatieve impact had op ons woongenot, ondanks een prachtige locatie en woning.

FRYSLAN HOMES From the very beginning, there was a particularly pleasant contact with Marco and Monique. Pro-active, friendly, flexible, collaborative and professional! First rental, then sale. It took some time and I have put Marco in front of significant challenges (unwittingly), all of which he accepted and brought to a good end. In short: a special house, special history, special circumstances and an equally special real estate agent, without whom it would not have been possible. WELL DONE, Marco!! Cheers, Theo

Anne marie Hey, your son can terminate his rental agreement without costs. I had rented out my apartment for at least 1 year, but the tenants left after 7.5 months. When I asked Fryslan Homes whether the contract should then be complied with, they coldly stated that a tenant may always terminate earlier without compensation. So a rental contract with Fryslan Homes is nothing much. Your son should request reimbursement of costs, possibly through the sub-district court. Good luck. Very bad experience with Fryslan Homes as a rental agency; a clause in a rental agreement is not honored, and when you call about it, they promise in a phone conversation recorded by me to call back the next day – which they didn’t do; I received notification that they would immediately stop all mediation and want all mail from now on in writing. The reason was the recorded phone conversation which I should immediately destroy and the reason that I complained too much - I received complaints about tenants and passed them on, or tenants knocked at my door for various matters and I passed that on; that’s what I ultimately paid Fryslan Homes for. They refuse to accept a registered letter from me. Reimbursing money for services not provided – final inspection and one month without mediation – no way. It's just that my private circumstances are so difficult, otherwise I would have taken them to court immediately. Don’t do business with them; as long as you say yes and amen it is fine but if more needs to happen then you really put the cat in the curtains. Another warning: Fryslan Homes is, as far as I can tell, not affiliated with a trade association so you cannot appeal to an arbitration committee. They apparently don’t dare to do that. This leaves only recourse to the court.

Terrible company

Reachability and communication are important points of attention. There is no response to emails, nor to return call requests. My son, a student, who had to prematurely terminate his internship, has paid 1027,95 to be allowed to terminate his rental agreement earlier. In return for this, he expects Fryslan Homes to look for a new tenant, so that he does not have to serve out the entire duration of his rental agreement. Unfortunately, his apartment in Ternaard is still not listed in the rental stock and there has been no further action. “Fryslan homes gives more”…..is stated on their website….more, to line their own pockets. And yes, we feel it deep down…...severe abdominal pain even, because my son has to borrow extra money and struggle to pay the rent. Very unfortunate and hopefully Fryslan Homes will adjust its services with all available resources.

Professional and reliable. My daughter and I rented the house. The first conversation went well and after a week we received the keys. Telephone and email communication always goes well. I recommend Fryslan Home.

Even if you wanted to, renting a home through Fryslan Homes will not work. I have already responded multiple times to a property from Fryslan Homes and so far, each time I’ve received an email after about a week saying they haven't received all the data. This while it was definitely uploaded and received. Even after uploading, I still receive the same email two weeks later. When I tried to contact Fryslan Homes by phone (I wanted to know what they were doing with my data since they seem to be losing it), it wasn’t possible to speak to an employee from the automated message. This eventually worked via email. She indicated that communication had been sent stating that pets were not allowed in the property, including a date. I never received this email and would have really liked to find this information in the advertisement. This would have saved me the trouble of uploading endless amounts of documents. Perhaps the email was sent to another interested party to whom they linked my data. I see Fryslan Homes’ response as ‘the properties are going like hotcakes,’ but even after 3 months, I can still respond to the same properties, so that also turns out not to be entirely true.

Waar zal ik beginnen... Wij waren op zoek naar een vrijstaande woning met voldoende ruimte en rust. We kwamen een mooie woning op Funda tegen die binnen ons budget viel. Reageren via Funda was niet mogelijk, dus dan moet je bellen. Helaas bleek dat al een uitdaging, Fryslan Homes is slecht bereikbaar. Een afspraak maken was ook al lastig, want het was ver rijden. Waarom neem je dan een klus aan die ver van je 'rijbereik' af zit. Enfin, eenmaal een afspraak gemaakt, we komen aan bij de woning, een prachtige jaren 90 woning met een oprit voor 3 auto's. Helaas konden we niet op de oprit parkeren omdat de makelaar z'n veel te grote Jeep zo op de parkeerplaats had geparkeerd dat er geen auto meer voor of achter gezet kon worden. "Ok, dan moeten we de auto maar langs de veel te smalle straat parkeren." Eenmaal binnengekomen ging liet de makelaar ons al snel zelfstandig rondkijken omdat hij zelf zonodig op een stoel moest zitten om met zijn telefoon te spelen. Totaal ongeïnteresseerd in zijn potentiële klanten. Wij hadden o.a. gevraagd naar de staat van de woning en of er lekkages bekend waren. Er werd ons door de makelaar verzekerd dat de woning in prima staat was en dat er geen sprake was van lekkages. Ondanks de negatieve signalen hebben we toch besloten om een bod uit te brengen op de woning. Uiteindelijk tot een overeenstemming gekomen. Bij de overdracht waren we uiteraard enthousiast dat we onze eerste woning zouden krijgen. Bij de eindinspectie hebben we even door de woning heengelopen en constateerden dat de ketel op een service modus stond. "Even bijvullen" dacht ik nog. Helaas bleek achteraf de ketel kapot te zijn. Toen wij het probleem meldden bij de makelaar (op dezelfde dag van de oplevering) kregen wij de melding dat het dossier reeds gesloten was. ah fijn, servicemonteur laten komen... schade 350 euro. Een paar dagen later begon het te regenen en het regenwater begon via de spotjes in de erker naar beneden te sijpelen. Toen wij wederom verhaal probeerden te halen bij de makelaar gaf hij aan hier niet van op de hoogte te zijn omdat de verkoper formuliertjes in had gevuld waarin stond dat de woning in uitmuntende staat zou zijn. Bijzonder, aangezien de makelaar en de verkoper bevriend waren met elkaar. Nu kun je natuurlijk wat vinden van het feit dat we geen bouwkundige inspectie hebben laten uitvoeren, maar de makelaar heeft gewoon een informatieplicht. De makelaar en de verkoper wisten heel goed wat ze aan het verkopen waren, maar besloten hier niet eerlijk over te zijn. De makelaar in kwestie, Marco van Leeuwen, heeft niet de intentie gehad om eerlijk te zijn over zijn handeltje. Dus wees gewaarschuwd en trap niet in zijn mooie verhaaltjes. Hij is onbetrouwbaar en liegt om zijn eigen zakken te vullen. Nu zal Marco de Leeuw waarschijnlijk een gevat antwoord geven op dit verhaal, maar vergeet nooit: een gewaarschuwd mens telt voor 2! Dus wees verstandig en doe geen zaken met deze onbetrouwbare makelaar. Tenzij je er natuurlijk op uit bent om een slecht huis te verkopen, dat kan Marco als de beste. In deze tijd zal Marco z'n huisjes wel verkopen, maar ooit zullen de getijden keren en zal Fryslân homes het moeten hebben van de reviews op het internet. Ik hoop dat iedereen een lering trekt uit ons verhaal…

No response to emails, and no contact despite being called multiple times. Poor service and the website is not well organized.

Unfortunately, my experience with this rental agency has been particularly disappointing. Firstly, their accessibility was a major problem. It often took days before we received any response, if we received one at all. Furthermore, the website was a nightmare to work with. Uploading documents was a time-consuming and frustrating task because it didn't work, and when we reported the problems, they insisted that everything was working properly. The fact that both my partner and I experienced the same issues made it clear that something was fundamentally wrong. We even sent several screenshots via email, but they continued to insist that it worked fine. Also, we were not allowed to send our documents via email because the website “just works”. You feel completely misunderstood and against the wall. Especially since urgent housing was needed. The lowest point of our experience was the rude treatment by the woman who served as our first point of contact. Her attitude was far from professional and she seemed completely uninterested in solving our problems. All of this caused us an unnecessary amount of stress and frustration that made us stop working with this company. Overall, I would strongly advise against this rental agency to anyone looking for a smooth and stress-free rental experience. Their lack of accessibility, technical issues, and lack of customer service make it an absolutely poor choice.

In the Middle of nowhere, but still a nice hotel with a lovely bed to rest. Otherwise, very little happens here.

Wolves in sheep's clothing. Fryslan Homes. seems like a broker, but it isn't. The employees don’t keep appointments. Don’t call back. And be careful during the handover. They give compliments that it was handed over neatly. Only a small damage that needs to be repaired by a professional. So the deposit remains behind. Of course, it takes some time before the professional is available. Regular contact. And suddenly there's an email, because they don’t respond by phone, the deadline has passed. Why. Where does it say what the deadline is. And the deposit is gone. . I want to warn you about these wolves in sheep's clothing

Professional, honest and decisive. We rented a fantastic house from them. Nice people, extremely fast response time and simply a professional company. They have skilled tradespeople available for repairs who also come quickly. We were pleasantly surprised by this as well. They listen carefully and no effort is too much. If it should be necessary, they are the first ones I will contact again.

Never experienced such a thoughtful and humane real estate agent before. They look at the personal situation and act accordingly. All praise. I highly recommend this realtor!

Property purchased and is not being delivered as agreed, the notary also fails to follow up on appointments through them, the property is no longer removed from their website, calls are made multiple times, emails receive no response, in a word, a worthless company with which you absolutely should not do business

When I called to schedule a viewing, I waited 20 min. on hold after which I was disconnected. I called again and waited another time. When I finally got through to them, I said that I had been waiting a long time and before I could finish my sentence, the lady, in a certain tone, said: “we are busy, the phone is glowing red.” I finished my sentence and said that the connection was dropped after 20 min. To which she replied, with a slightly sarcastic tone: “That’s annoying”. I asked if I could view the property and the answer was short: “No, that's not possible anymore”. And we hung up. I found the whole experience so unsettling, especially the tone, that I am taking the trouble to write a review about it.

Never been there before but I know the people and they seem nice to me.

Very unprofessional broker doesn't call back, gives little advice and upon termination because there have been no viewings for a year already points to cancellation costs because they are going to miss out on the commission.
