Activo has helped us tremendously with the purchase of our house. Partly due to their sharp view of the current market, we seriously participated in all bids and it was 'spot on' with the third house. They are very good at finding the balance between 'bidding realistically' but not 'going along too much with the madness and staying true to yourself'. We could always contact them for questions. A personal approach, 'thinking outside the box' and proactive action is what characterizes them. I would recommend them to everyone as a buyer's agent and am sure that the sale of a house will also be in good hands with them!
We sold our house with the help of Activo Real Estate and we were very happy with it. We received very professional assistance and (almost) everything was taken out of our hands. It was a very relaxed process. In addition, Activo Real Estate understands the housing market in our town despite that not being their normal area of expertise. Highly recommended!
One of the employees is very unprofessional. She puts pressure on the other party and threatens with steps that are legally completely irrelevant at a certain point. With this, she sows unrest and uncertainty. It is an example of a person who likes to be a so-called added value for her client, but in doing so completely disregards her responsibility as a broker. In my long career within the financial services industry, I have never experienced anything like this.
Unfortunately, we discovered this when it was too late... This broker contacted the selling party without us being aware of it. Ultimately, it cost us more; we could have done it better ourselves.
A great team that functions as one realtor. Friendly, advisory, serious but also with humor, they really take the time for you. In all the years that we have engaged a realtor, we have never had such intense and clear contact. As if you are allowed to follow them in their kitchen. I have had a good experience with Activo Makelaardij. Activo Makelaardij is an enthusiastic company that guides you from beginning to end. Both when selling and buying, Activo makelaardij is involved. They offer personal service through good cooperation and good contact. They also offer extra services, they create interior plans for homes that (for example) are vacant or homes that hardly attract viewers. This allows the people who view your home to create a good picture. Super handy therefore. Activo makelaardij is a versatile real estate agency that can offer you good service. A real recommendation!

Imagine; the housing market is overheated, you know that you can sell your current home well but you also know that you will probably purchase any new home at a sky-high price. What do you do then? My advice; call Activo Makelaardij! Then you are certain you buy and sell at the most favorable rate! I am happy to share my story! You get a phone call; did you see that house on Funda? That is really something for you. We hesitated but Joliens' enthusiasm convinced us to go look anyway. Once inside, we were sold. The house was beautiful. Not in the most favorable condition but with a man in construction, that would be fine. After a second viewing, we decided to make an offer. Jolien would not be Jolien if she didn’t want to get everything out of it. The first bid was rejected and the second bid was (against all expectations) accepted. In this overheated housing market, we bought a home for €40,000,- less than the asking price. I almost fell off my chair when Jolien called with the good news. With a transfer within 6 weeks, panic set in. We had to sell our current house. I called Jolien slightly panicked. Her words; don't worry, it will be alright! She came by, we made a plan, critically reviewed the property, received a decluttering list and scheduled an appointment with the photographer. As promised, within one week our home was sparkling clean on Funda. Within 2 days we had more than 15 viewings. And one week later; the house was sold for €20,000,- more than the asking price. An important note; our asking price was already reasonably high. Again, I almost fell off my chair when I received the offer from the potential buyer. It’s not all about money! It's also about quality. And Activo certainly offers that! Jolien explained everything to us in simple terms and ensured that this process, even for laymen like us, was clear. She helped us at times when we needed it and always offered a listening ear. Meanwhile, we are sitting among moving boxes and have renovation plans you wouldn’t believe. Perhaps nice to know; Activo also thinks along with you when it comes to interior design and renovation plans. Together with the appraiser, they give advice on which parts to tackle and think along about the layout. This gave us refreshing ideas. We look back more than satisfied on the purchase of our new home and the sale of our current one. Are you at the point of selling your home and buying a new one? Then we advise you to team up with Activo Makelaardij. They will get everything out of it for you, as a buyer or as a seller!
