Buying a house isn't something you do every day... so it's nice to have someone by your side who knows what they're doing. With Rob van Disbergen Makelaardij, we were completely fine. Marcel gave sharp, good advice and could quickly switch gears when needed. He was easily accessible and came up with many useful tips for renovation and DIY projects. Moreover, he kept us grounded when we almost wanted to buy something in a neighborhood that wasn't really suitable for us. We are very happy about that! Be aware of friends of this realtor if it's supposedly claimed there's no interest in your house. Offers were never passed on and afterwards it becomes clear why. The house was sold to a friend of the realtor and resold with a significant profit. These people engage in fraudulent practices.

I cannot recommend this real estate agent as a buyer's agent, unfortunately. For the high cost price, you can hope that they will respond to a simple question such as when you pay them (separately or at the notary), however, I would have to ask the notary that. When I asked if they had reviewed the purchase agreement, they reacted dismissively because it was just a standard contract and didn't need to be read. However, there were several non-standard extra sections. Many recommended third parties such as notary, building inspection, and appraisal were poorly regarded and not worth recommending overall. Overall, I don’t feel like I was well supported in buying my house and I am of the opinion that the costs have not been balanced with the services provided. I will avoid this real estate agent in the future. Edit 26-09-2024: Response to Rob from Disbergen: This is certainly not a misunderstanding but happened some years ago. I submitted a long complaint email at the time. It was then forwarded to the relevant real estate agent and nothing further was done about it. Given that I still find this unpleasant and you didn’t do anything about it back then, even though there was an opportunity, I am now posting this review to warn others. As confirmation that it is the correct office, the involved realtor was Marcel T.

I would not recommend their services at all. Full of promises that are not kept (regarding price, actions they will undertake etc.). They are no longer accustomed to working for the fees they charge (the 'For Sale' sign remained in the front yard for 2 months without being updated - even on notary day the house was still “for sale”). Unreliable, even though we asked in various ways to ensure lights were switched on and doors/windows open after their viewings, they consistently left something on or open. Don’t bother, it's not worth the price and you will be treated arrogantly and with contempt. I would have given zero stars.
