Two very justified reprimands from the Stichting Tuchtrechtspraak of the NVM (Dutch Association of Real Estate Agents) addressed to Verheul Makelaardij. The supervisory board Amsterdam, the disciplinary committee, issued a reprimand to broker/director Hans Bos personally and a reprimand for Verheul Makelaardij as a company because multiple brokers were involved. This was due to the sale of a house to us with several concealed major defects that were already known to Verheul Makelaardij well before the sale of our house. The defects had even been reported in the crm system where every broker at the office has access. If director Hans Bos had admitted his significant mistakes promptly and sought a solution with us, for which he was amply given the opportunity, an official complaint to the NVM would not have been necessary. Instead, his large ego and arrogant attitude and lies take over, but as we expected: in vain. The evidence was very clear; there was no sincere or honest conduct by Mr. Hans Bos. On the contrary, he even acted against the code of honor of the NVM. The disciplinary committee was very clear and fair and declared all our complaints well-founded. Very wise of Mr. Hans Bos that he did not appeal against this official ruling. It would have been embarrassing enough for him. And he understood that very well. But.....no apology to us. How unprofessional. Now to the civil court for our compensation. Because as I promised Mr. Hans Bos: I believe in 'honesty is the best policy'. Monique Koelman-Stavleu
