I really don't understand these negative reviews... I've been renting here for three years and have never had any problems. If I do have problems, I call and always get help. Honestly, they are truly one of the best real estate agents in the Netherlands.

On November 4th, I had an appointment for a rental property at 6:00 PM. They called me at 5:00 PM and indicated that the appointment was rescheduled for next Monday (11/11) at 6:00 PM. On Monday, they called me again at 3:00 PM and indicated that the appointment was rescheduled to Friday (15/11) because people needed time to figure things out. I agreed. I asked each time if I could see the house but they always had something to say and lie about the house. On Friday, they called me again saying the appointment was rescheduled to Monday (18/11) at 6:00 PM. I agreed again and said that if Monday didn't work out, I wanted my deposit back and they agreed to this. On Monday (18/11), they called me again and said they didn't have the keys etc. I thanked them for their trouble (while they were lying and playing with my time and money, I was very nice to them) and asked for my money back. They said I would get the money back on Friday, even though I had indicated 3 days prior that if Monday didn't work out, I wanted my money back but okay, I agreed again. Today is November 25th and I have not received my money. They are liars, don't believe them, they call from fake numbers and give false names, and everyone blames someone else. Very unprofessional, unreliable behavior

They say that if we are interested in the houses, we can send the documents privately via WhatsApp. They never respond. Very fast in finding a house. I came from abroad and had been searching for something for months, and City Rental helped me to finally find something. Definitely recommended, very reliable.

A MONEY-ORIENTED company this is!!! If you have decided to cancel at the last moment, they will still suppress you to pay for the so-called work that they have performed in the meantime. In addition, you must thoroughly inspect the property to see if everything is correct or working because once you are there, you are seriously screwed! For example: due to lack of ventilation, mold appears, and there was also too little heating in the property, making it extra cold in winter. Finally, read your contract carefully before signing because the LAW is followed according to the book but still the agreements are not met. My contract was suddenly terminated 6 weeks before renewal because the building was allegedly sold while new viewings already took place during my move. More than 6 weeks later, there has been no refund of the deposit or email received. Advice: DO NOT GO INTO BUSINESS WITH CITY RENTAL!

I placed my search request online via their website and a few days later I received a message with photos and videos of an apartment that met my wishes and budget. Within 48 hours they arranged a physical viewing and I signed the contract. It's not exactly a real estate agent, because they only mediate between landlords and potential tenants, but they do inspect the property and hand over the keys. Emy is very friendly and helped me enormously with making the appointment for registration. Overall, I have had a good experience with their services.

Finally, do not wait until you receive your full deposit back. He waits until the student returns to their country to return only part of it. He knows that the student has no possibility to complain. They are renting out apartments that are managed by fraudsters. Be careful of agencies. The owners do not provide advance payments for bills. Be especially cautious with the apartment on Strevelsweg, managed by owner David, an exceptional fraudster. I paid 2400e for a year of bills, 200e per month.
