Martin really went above and beyond during our purchase. The concept of Bieden & Wonen was completely new to me. I got in touch with Martin Houtzager, the sales agent at Bieden & Wonen, through a contact from the real estate industry. After an extensive explanation of their working method my interest was immediately sparked. Naturally, everyone who is selling their home wants to achieve the best possible price. We all know that outbidding has become common practice nowadays. At auctions, real estate agents naturally play a very important role and unfortunately not always the most honest ones. With the Bieden & Wonen concept, it remains possible for the seller to achieve the most achievable price at that moment, while the potential buyer can see in full transparency what is happening. The process of (over)bidding is completely transparent. Outside the system we have chosen, the support provided by Martin was also experienced as very positive. We were not an average customer, living in Curacao and due to a medical issue could not come to the Netherlands. The entire sales process was a one-two between Curacao and Alkmaar and this with a 5 hour time difference. The support, the speed of responding and flexibility that Martin demonstrated throughout our entire apartment sales process, testifies to a great professionalism and has led to a successful transaction for both seller and buyer.
