During the sales event of the bungalows of De Waardmeester in Heerhugowaard on 15-11, we made an appointment for a free valuation by Magneetmakelaars. The day before the appointment, we were called to say that it would not be a physical, but a telephone valuation. We were called on Thursday 23-11. The ‘expert’ was able to tell us that it is a corner house of 118m2 living space and completed in 2017. What type of property it was, the ‘expert’ did not know. Neither did they have reference properties. They compared our home with a maisonnette, which are located above our home. These are completely different types of homes. Also, the actual layout (how our house is constructed) was unknown. The valuation given by the ‘expert’ was completely off base. Apples and pears were being compared.
