Fantastic realtor. Did an incredible amount for us. Incredibly pleasant, friendly, open and honest. Not only the realtor themselves, but also the employees at the office.

Very dominant and arrogant club people. They rent out homes but have no idea what is and isn't allowed. Asking questions about private matters that don't add up and want forms and documentation that cannot be deviated from. Even if requested documents are not available and equivalent documents are available, they won't budge. In this case, it concerns someone with a disability.

We don't outsource the management here, they would ensure we could start with the window frames final result nothing. Just nothing... mold in your house that is supposedly my own fault because I have a dog, a man, and a dryer. Wouw....an open window for ventilation apparently works less well than a sliding window ... they were so uninformed that they didn't even know that all apartments had their own gas connection and you pay for that. Oh, and they decide to shorten their working hours due to staff shortages. Yes, explain it to the customer but then also don't deliver invoices any less.... scammers

At the time of the pre-inspection in July, the house was old and very old, so I was told that I only had to do general cleaning. And on August 5th, the final inspection took place. A different employee than the one who came for the pre-inspection came and grabbed the pod and said the house was dirty. The deposit was 2400 euros. He kept refusing to return the deposit and called the cleaning company and gave him a receipt of 1,000 euros and said that he would deduct the amount and return it. I didn't use the refrigerator or oven at all, but I was even charged cleaning costs for the refrigerator. I cleaned the house even cleaner than when I moved in, but I called a cleaning company and had it cleaned. Waiting to get even 1400 euros, but still not returning it. Only people who don't want to receive a deposit should use this company. Not worthy of a single star. Worst property management ever.

A company that doesn't account for humanity. Van der Borden owns an apartment in our complex. This apartment is being renovated. Initially, we received a neat letter describing the work and timeline. However, the timeline is completely off. Don’t get me wrong, renovations need to happen, and noise pollution coming with it is perfectly logical. However, when they say there will be 2 days of hard work and then two weeks later you're still being disturbed in your home, some communication would be appropriate. We have contacted the company multiple times. We are greeted politely with the statement that they will address it with the contractor and communicate this to us. This doesn’t happen! Despite promises that we would receive a call back that same day. Not even after contacting the manager (who was so happy with our feedback...). I gave birth to a beautiful daughter three weeks ago. I can say that my postpartum period has really been ruined by these circumstances, and I blame Van der Borden for it. With a company that treats people this way, I would absolutely never do business. Unprofessional!

(No) purchase/sale experiences with this agency yet. It's remarkable that this agency still schedules viewings for a property for sale, while the seller is already in negotiation with interested parties who have even submitted proposals!! This is of course her right, but still... I don't know if this is common practice at reputable NVM agencies, but it seems questionable.

Very well assisted in finding a suitable home for me and my partner, had a lot of contact with Jan Jaap van der Borden, We've now been in the house for over a month and all contacts have gone as wished. Recommended in the North Holland area!

Terrible company. They do everything they can to withhold your deposit. You return the house in better condition than you received it, but they still find a reason to withhold your deposit. I am far from the only one with this experience!

Based on previous good experiences with real estate agency Van der Borden Vastgoed, I recently chose to commission them to sell my property. They took up this assignment in a particularly proactive, (cost)efficient manner and with good communication, in a way that really relieved me of stress. Perhaps helped by the market, but certainly also due to a good assessment of the target group and interested parties, my house was sold very quickly, at a good price and without me having to do anything myself. The subsequent settlement, up to and including the transfer, was also carried out neatly and efficiently by Van der Borden. In short: I can strongly recommend this company.

Bad reviews are quickly shared, good ones often forgotten. Recently rented a house through Van Der Borden Makelaars. I was very well assisted, with a personal approach and understanding for situations. Should I look for a house to buy or rent in the future, I will definitely first contact this real estate agent. Thanks to the pleasant collaboration with various employees, we are very satisfied with the progress of the sale of the apartment.

For a year and a half, I lived in a house owned by Van der Borden in Bovenkarspel on Keizerskroonweg. It was an old house from 1972 with many defects. Unfortunately, you only notice these when you live there. It started immediately with windows that were impossible to open. This was because they painted over rotten wood. The wood expanded and this was temporarily glued back together by painters who couldn't get them open and just painted over it. In addition, the bathtub faucet didn't work. Luckily, Van der Borden would send someone over. After a few weeks, a man came along who was clearly on drugs to repair everything. He was covered in blood because he had an open wound that he had taped shut (with brown duct tape); I even asked if he wanted a plaster but it wasn't necessary. Well... you’d think this was a lie, but unfortunately, it’s all true. The man was friendly and did his job well, but it was still quite strange. After 2 months, the fence fell over; it had been secured by a previous resident with rope and small nails. The fence was in the ground with rotten poles. When I found out about this, I immediately contacted Van der Borden. After waiting for several days, I received a response: ''Minor damage must be repaired by the tenant''. I disagreed with this because we only started living there and this must have been going on for years. Unfortunately, Van der Borden doesn't care; it’s minor damage and the tenant has to resolve it. I then said that this was not minor damage. Again, Van der Borden had nothing to do with it, so we had to pay for it ourselves. Not much later, many items were damaged in the bathroom. The faucet leaked water and there was black mold because the bathroom lacks ventilation. ''Age is no reason for replacement'' as Van der Borden calls it. Luckily, the man did explain how mold works; it’s a shame that my girlfriend and I both studied biology so his story didn't add up. In the kitchen, many tiles are broken and there are damages everywhere. Once again, we asked if this could be replaced. Again, we received a clear answer from Van der Borden; ''No''. After a year and a half, we luckily found another house. However, we still had to have the final inspection. Van der Borden was not happy with the broken tiles, leaking faucet, messy garden, and the black mold in the house. We will therefore not get our deposit back of one month's rent at €750. Luckily, we were given a week to resolve these issues. The conclusion is DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VAN DER BORDEN. You are treated unfairly while paying top dollar for a house. Honesty and fairness are not important; this company is only concerned with money. They don't know humanity. If you have the choice to rent your house through another company, I would definitely do so. If you do business with Van der Borden, you will certainly regret it!

The joint meeting with the buyers where the purchase agreement was discussed, was accurately and simultaneously conducted pleasantly. Handling of the sale well taken care of, also in the details.
