Update after the reaction below: your office was indeed called!! A colleague was supposed to pass this on and didn't do so. We explained this immediately to you as well. Strange situation with this real estate agent. If you don't cancel the appointment for a viewing within 24 hours, you must pay a fine. Sounds quite logical, however.. what do you do if you make the appointment one day in advance and a few hours later you hear that you have been given another house?! Cancelled immediately, but it wasn't possible within the 24 hours. Apparently, this real estate agent wants to push through with a viewing at all costs, even if they already know you are not going to buy this house. Apparently we should have wasted our time and the real estate agent’s time to avoid a fine. Not very customer-friendly!

She told me with full understanding that she would stop everything and withdraw the assignment, and I could contact her again in the future when I needed help selling. Unfortunately (my lesson!) this wasn't done via email, so they sent an invoice of €1000,- more than half a year LATER for withdrawing the assignment. NOTE: there was no surveyor nor photographer involved. IN SHORT; nothing was executed. Reminded her several times via WhatsApp and phone about our conversation from half a year ago, but this lady kept giving politically correct answers that dodged my question. Please take the bad reviews and accusations you read here seriously! Yes, money needs to come into a company, but this is not a way of doing business to treat your customers inhumanely, not keep your word, and deny everything! The broker (my contact person) no longer works at Makelaarshuys either, but still remembered our agreement very well! I have now paid the amount of €1000,-. Money is energy that you are supposed to earn, fairly. And you haven't earned this amount. So it won’t stay in your possession for long. I believe in honesty and hope that people who read this will think very carefully about whether they even want to do business with them. There are plenty of brokers on the market, get well informed and read reviews carefully and don't stop at the first 3! I have bought and sold several properties before and have never had such an experience with any broker!

Unfortunately, not such a good experience with this realtor. Due to several things that went wrong and I had to speak with Irene as a result, I didn't feel taken seriously. If you are going to have a work consultation with staff after the transfer to look at where things went wrong, I don't think that's a good approach. In my opinion, the first priority, which is what I would do as a company, is trying to still give the customer a good feeling. But that isn’t at the top of Irene's list. To have been misinformed by this broker has cost me a lot of money after the purchase. If you try to contact them about this, the communication process is, to put it mildly, difficult.
