We did have to chase it up ourselves to get the property listed on Funda on the day we chose and were advised (negative point). Just before the property went live on Funda, the selling price was only determined, which in our opinion could have happened a bit earlier. We received a clear report from each viewing. The bidding process was exciting but we still got a good offer. All in all, a good real estate agent.

I had to think about this for a long time but still wanted to share it. I had a viewing for a house in Kattenbroek a few months ago, which was a pleasant experience in itself. It was just a bidding sale that, as far as I know, would close on Friday or Monday around 12 o'clock. My purchasing broker then submitted our bid a few minutes before the deadline. Then we were called that evening with the story that the property had actually been promised to someone else by the sellers but that I still had the highest bid. Then came the question of whether my offer was also without a financing condition. I indicated that it was. Eventually, however, the house went to the party to whom it had initially been promised by the seller. My suspicion, and why this feels bitter to me, is that my bid was passed on to the initial party and they got another chance to match it so that the sellers could get an even better deal and also keep their promises. Otherwise, I can't explain such a phone call. Furthermore, the highest bid is simply the highest bid when it works with registration. If the latter is not correct and there is a completely different explanation, I would like to hear it here, but I don’t think I can close this properly because it has been a very disappointing experience...

I will no longer look at properties they have in their portfolio! The realtor does not send appointment confirmations, does not respond to emails, does not inform the seller when a competing bid has been submitted; when I approached the seller directly and asked if he had received my bid, the answer was 'no' and he fell silent when I mentioned my submitted bid, by which time commitments had already been made to another bidder. The sales data is now visible in the land registry. My offer was 5% above the final selling price and my conditions were not unusual. Previously contacted this realtor for a different property. During a viewing, you are simply referred to the brochure; cannot answer simple questions that are not in the brochure. If you want to get rid of your home quickly regardless of the price, this realtor can help you put the house away in their circle of friends. Do you want to sell your property for the best price? Look elsewhere, there are plenty of other realtors.
