I had missed in the 'story' that the rent I pay with the allowance is € 390, as you know, since you heard at the beginning that I get rent allowance. Therefore, renting until March is no less than € 180 cheaper. And of course I am not willing to lose € 180 more to make a new tenant happy. The 'major part of my stuff' was removed as soon as I heard that it wasn't allowed, so no worries. And again, according to the law, the deposit is meant to cover damage to the property, and you know that too. It has nothing to do with early departure, breach of contract or anything like that. And again, a temporary contract includes the right to move out with a one-month notice period, EVEN IF you set at least 12 months. Look up the latest lawsuit and you will see it. Too bad you happened not to react to the part about hidden costs, but that's not surprising.
