Very bad letting agent. I have been renting a property through Rotsvast for a year now and they never show up for their tenant. I have been dealing with leaks for a year now and nothing is being done about it. They go out to sea with houseboat dealers, at the expense of their tenants.

Very helpful company - I would recommend Rotsvast to everyone, especially Sten, who was always very generous with his market knowledge and quick communication. It took a while before I found the right place due to the current market, but I am very happy with the end result.

It was a good experience. They sat down and explained everything in English, went through the contract and then showed us the house, taking pictures together to document the condition of the house. A downside was that they didn't introduce us to the owners. We haven't met the owners yet. I waited to leave a review after we had the chance to meet the landlord, but it’s been a year now and since I haven't had any bad experiences with the owners, I decided to leave a review anyway. If I could give zero stars, I would do so. Rotsvast is nothing more than helpless, dismissive and outright rude during my search for a housing in Leeuwarden. I was homeless for an entire MONTH and desperately looking for a place to live. Despite having visited their office multiple times, they could only tell me to 'send an e-mail'. Guess what happened after sending those emails? A generic answer: 'Not suitable for you, because you are a student.' What makes it even worse is that with some more expensive housing, you would not have any problem with students renting – it's therefore not about being a student, but about taking advantage of people who are desperately looking for housing. And then the cherry on top: after my friend left a one-star review, you dared to call me and demand why I gave you a bad review. Here's your answer: because your service is TERRIBLE. You didn't help me when I needed it the most, you made a stressful situation even worse and you proved that you care more about appearances than actually helping people. Avoid this office absolutely if you value your time, money and mental health.

I am very satisfied with Rotsvast! There was a quick response to my request and a week later I was already invited to view the studio. It is a beautiful studio. Everything went very smoothly and quickly and I am completely satisfied! The team helped me very well in finding a home and I can only recommend them.

Responded and acted quickly after the Liander technician found a small gas leak. Current rental property found quite quickly (for this time on the housing market) via Friened.

Mr. had us evicted from our house after we repeatedly complained that our shower doors were falling off. Apparently, you're not supposed to complain about that AND you can then be threatened at your own door by this filthy guy! 5 months and a lawyer later, I finally got the deposit back which was mysteriously not paid out. No good words for this nasty guy!!
