We are once again very satisfied with Van t Hof Makelaardij. This is the 2nd house where we have engaged them for the sale. This time a somewhat different construction because we ourselves (before we would officially start the sale) found a buyer who currently resides abroad for a certain period. In preparation for the sale, we experienced good cooperation with Bertho and all praise goes to Christine (who during his vacation) took over the administrative/legal part for us (also the communication with/between buyer and buyer's real estate agent) where it concerned the sales deed and rental agreement. Everything was thoroughly reviewed, adjusted where necessary, and prepared. Consultation was even possible until the evening hours.

We had a very unpleasant experience with this real estate agent. We had found a beautiful apartment to our liking. BERTHO MANSCHOT of van t Hof makelaars was the selling real estate agent. After we placed a bid, within the bidding period, our purchasing agent received an email after about an hour with congratulations. WE HAD THE HOUSE !! Very happy, we informed everyone about this good news. A few hours later, we received sad news from our purchasing agent. THE PURCHASE WAS NOT GOING THROUGH AFTER ALL!. It turned out that a higher bid had still been placed. This happened after the bidding period. It concerned someone who had already made an initial offer and apparently got another chance to make a higher bid. In addition, our firm belief is that he/she got an idea from the real estate agent's side about the amount of the bid. Besides the fact that we are very disappointed that the house did not go through, we are also ENORMOUSLY ANGRY about this situation. Legally, this may not be actionable, but MORALLY this is highly DEPLORABLE BEHAVIOR and we therefore advise everyone not to do business with this unscrupulous and immoral company !!!

Shifty office. Only thinks about making a transaction. After a strange negotiation process, I had a verbal agreement regarding the purchase of Sophiastraat 9 in Gouda. The day before signing, the sellers withdrew due to psychological problems and a divorce. However, I had already incurred costs for the appraisal at that time. Van ’t Hof made no effort to have the sellers pay these costs.
