I would have expected better service from this NVM real estate agent/Bob. He abused his position. I regret it as much as hairs on my head that I had given him the assignment. A competent NVM real estate agent probably wouldn't have deceived us in this way, especially since he was also rude. I simply had a very bad experience, mainly because we, as clients, had nothing to say c.q. to contribute. He knew which town we had to move to and which house would be good for us. He also made us submit an offer that was unrealistically high. Furthermore, he just went on vacation instead of ensuring that my property would be sold quickly and at the best possible price, and he even dared to say at the end that the bid that was put forward was simply too high for what was offered. He clearly showed that he wasn't interested in the assignment!

I cannot recommend this real estate agent as a buyer's agent, unfortunately. For the high cost price, you can hope that they will respond to a simple question such as when you pay them (separately or at the notary), however, I would have to ask the notary that. When I asked if they had reviewed the purchase agreement, they reacted dismissively because it was just a standard contract and didn't need to be read. However, there were several non-standard extra sections. Many recommended third parties such as notary, building inspection, and appraisal were poorly regarded and not worth recommending overall. Overall, I don’t feel like I was well supported in buying my house and I am of the opinion that the costs have not been balanced with the services provided. I will avoid this real estate agent in the future. Edit 26-09-2024: Response to Rob from Disbergen: This is certainly not a misunderstanding but happened some years ago. I submitted a long complaint email at the time. It was then forwarded to the relevant real estate agent and nothing further was done about it. Given that I still find this unpleasant and you didn’t do anything about it back then, even though there was an opportunity, I am now posting this review to warn others.
