The people who work there are not skilled at all and unprofessional. They are only out to get money from your pockets because they charge money for everything, and if you have a defect notification that you would normally say is for the Landlord, they charge it to the Tenant. They are nice and accommodating until you sign the contract, then they can no longer do anything for you and are unreachable. BE WARNED! DO NOT GO INTO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Fryslan Homes requests a lot of personal data such as copies of ID cards, payslips, bank statements and employer declarations to be eligible for a home. After the ultimately successful registration, I received an email stating that I had been deregistered due to not providing all necessary information. This was incorrect. Attempted to make telephone contact, which only succeeded after a few days. I was told that the property was being withdrawn from rental.

FRYSLAN HOMES From the very beginning, there was a particularly pleasant contact with Marco and Monique. Pro-active, friendly, flexible, collaborative and professional! First rental, then sale. It took some time and I have put Marco in front of significant challenges (unwittingly), all of which he accepted and brought to a good end. In short: a special house, special history, special circumstances and an equally special real estate agent, without whom it would not have been possible. WELL DONE, Marco!! Cheers, Theo

Terrible company

Reachability and communication are important points of attention. There is no response to emails, nor to return call requests. My son, a student, who had to prematurely terminate his internship, has paid 1027,95 to be allowed to terminate his rental agreement earlier. In return for this, he expects Fryslan Homes to look for a new tenant, so that he does not have to serve out the entire duration of his rental agreement. Unfortunately, his apartment in Ternaard is still not listed in the rental stock and there has been no further action. “Fryslan homes gives more”…..is stated on their website….more, to line their own pockets. And yes, we feel it deep down…...severe abdominal pain even, because my son has to borrow extra money and struggle to pay the rent. Very unfortunate and hopefully Fryslan Homes will adjust its services with all available resources.

Professional and reliable. My daughter and I rented the house. The first conversation went well and after a week we received the keys. Telephone and email communication always goes well. I recommend Fryslan Home.

Even if you wanted to, renting a home through Fryslan Homes will not work. I have already responded multiple times to a property from Fryslan Homes and so far, each time I’ve received an email after about a week saying they haven't received all the data. This while it was definitely uploaded and received. Even after uploading, I still receive the same email two weeks later. When I tried to contact Fryslan Homes by phone (I wanted to know what they were doing with my data since they seem to be losing it), it wasn’t possible to speak to an employee from the automated message. This eventually worked via email. She indicated that communication had been sent stating that pets were not allowed in the property, including a date. I never received this email and would have really liked to find this information in the advertisement. This would have saved me the trouble of uploading endless amounts of documents. Perhaps the email was sent to another interested party to whom they linked my data. I see Fryslan Homes’ response as ‘the properties are going like hotcakes,’ but even after 3 months, I can still respond to the same properties, so that also turns out not to be entirely true.

No response to emails, and no contact despite being called multiple times. Poor service and the website is not well organized.

Unfortunately, my experience with this rental agency has been particularly disappointing. Firstly, their accessibility was a major problem. It often took days before we received any response, if we received one at all. Furthermore, the website was a nightmare to work with. Uploading documents was a time-consuming and frustrating task because it didn't work, and when we reported the problems, they insisted that everything was working properly. The fact that both my partner and I experienced the same issues made it clear that something was fundamentally wrong. We even sent several screenshots via email, but they continued to insist that it worked fine. Also, we were not allowed to send our documents via email because the website “just works”. You feel completely misunderstood and against the wall. Especially since urgent housing was needed. The lowest point of our experience was the rude treatment by the woman who served as our first point of contact. Her attitude was far from professional and she seemed completely uninterested in solving our problems. All of this caused us an unnecessary amount of stress and frustration that made us stop working with this company. Overall, I would strongly advise against this rental agency to anyone looking for a smooth and stress-free rental experience. Their lack of accessibility, technical issues, and lack of customer service make it an absolutely poor choice.

Wolves in sheep's clothing. Fryslan Homes. seems like a broker, but it isn't. The employees don’t keep appointments. Don’t call back. And be careful during the handover. They give compliments that it was handed over neatly. Only a small damage that needs to be repaired by a professional. So the deposit remains behind. Of course, it takes some time before the professional is available. Regular contact. And suddenly there's an email, because they don’t respond by phone, the deadline has passed. Why. Where does it say what the deadline is. And the deposit is gone. . I want to warn you about these wolves in sheep's clothing

Professional, honest and decisive. We rented a fantastic house from them. Nice people, extremely fast response time and simply a professional company. They have skilled tradespeople available for repairs who also come quickly. We were pleasantly surprised by this as well. They listen carefully and no effort is too much. If it should be necessary, they are the first ones I will contact again.

Never experienced such a thoughtful and humane real estate agent before. They look at the personal situation and act accordingly. All praise. I highly recommend this realtor!

We had a very bad experience with Marco van Fryslân Homes and the office. Incompetent, rude and xenophobic. One-sided interest representation and offensive behavior. I would not recommend anyone to work with this office. Absolutely unreliable and dishonest statements. Only legal steps can help us maintain our rights against this person and the office.
