Have the property appraised for a bridging mortgage. After much calling and promises from their side, which they do not keep, a report was eventually drawn up. The strange thing is that after two weeks they still needed additional information. It concerned two house numbers, which they had also merged into 1 report. A few months after our last offer was rejected, our realtor was approached again to see if we were still interested. We had submitted another offer and it was accepted. We were overjoyed. The next day, our realtor was called again to hear that the house had suddenly been sold to someone else. Legally, it might be possible and permissible, but I don't consider it a proper way of doing business. A man is a man, a word is a word.
