We didn't know Dutch, that's why we paid for mediation. Lima helped us with our first rent in NL. We just terminated the contract and it turned out that the start date was before the key handover and before the agreed term. You might wonder why we didn't check this ourselves? Because we paid 1k to not have any hassle.

On May 4th, late in the afternoon, a property was posted on Move and Funda, and I reacted immediately. I was nicely spoken to by a lady who indicated that I would be called that same day/evening to schedule a viewing. This did not happen, nor did it happen the next day. I contacted them again myself to still schedule the viewing. Then I received the message that they knew nothing about my previous contact moment/request and I could be placed on a waiting list because so many people have been called in the meantime. They didn't even bother to look at options. A bit of a shame.
