Dear people, this concept is not what it seems. They claim to pass the costs on to the buyer, that's their story, but ultimately the seller receives less than the actual selling price. Thus, they profit twice from THEIR CONSTRUCTION. Don't be tempted by this construction. Go to a reputable real estate agent.

My father wanted to sell his apartment and enlisted the help of this real estate agent in doing so. Sjors came to visit him and went through everything thoroughly with him. My father is getting on in years and has difficulty understanding the Dutch language well, so when his daughter contacted him, I also got in touch with Sjors. The contact was very pleasant and Sjors is very accessible and easy to reach. Which is really nice. If I had questions, I could call him or even send him a message. Super service! The apartment was also sold very quickly. In short, a very positive experience! We definitely recommend this real estate agent.

The name suggests otherwise, because moving is never free. I am satisfied with the guidance and expertise. The viewings were carried out and reported well and enthusiastically. What I liked less is that I had to have the description on Funda adjusted a few times because it was not correct and the telephone accessibility could be better.

Initially, the story sounded good. Due to serious private circumstances, there was an urgency to sell and limited energy to organize much. This broker really handled things very badly for us. The photos were very bad, supposedly the best photographer in the Netherlands?? Total mismatch with the viewers and the house. This broker has no network in our neighborhood. I would describe his approach as amateurish. I had to fill things in on an Excel sheet, which is very awkward and not of this time. All brokers work with an online environment. This broker is nowhere accountable; it cost us a lot of time and money and we have to start again while it was clear that we didn't have that time. This broker knows how to twist things so that ultimately it’s all the customer’s fault. Their website states how many houses they have sold, which is particularly little. Our advice is to think very carefully before entering into a partnership with this broker. After we posted this review, there was a response from the broker. For a moment, we thought the broker would take responsibility for his share in the disappointing result. On the contrary, he threatens with collection etc. In the meantime, we know via the new broker that there is a complaint from one of the potential buyers about the bad experience with this broker. Had decided not to make an offer for that reason and luckily now do. This broker does not hesitate to proclaim untruths in his favor, which can be read in his response to this review! Again, this broker is affiliated with nothing; you cannot file a complaint and cannot handle feedback! We immediately let them know that the photos were bad, and Sjors said it wasn’t so bad that they could still be used. Our lesson is that we will work with qualified brokers from now on who can demonstrably do their job well.

Bad experience as a purchasing party with Gratis Verhuizen Real Estate/Sjors. Immediately after making our offer on the house, without informing us, they contacted our financial advisor to see if we could afford the property. Ultimately, we were the highest bidders and had purchased the property subject to a structural survey. We made an appointment for the survey, but this was repeatedly cancelled by Sjors because the paperwork needed to be signed first. Furthermore, we were not allowed to attend the survey, which is unusual. After much pain and effort, we did manage to be present. Subsequently, there was an argument about the outcome of the report, which was prepared by the structural surveyor that we had requested through the Eigen Huis association. He was not objective; nothing added up; it wasn't as dramatic as all that, according to Sjors. We experienced that a lot of lies were told by Sjors, about defects, rules etc., and that we, as the paying party, were not protected at all by him. This has partially taken away the pleasure of buying the house for us. To other buyers who are dealing with Gratis Verhuizen Real Estate, we can only say, take someone with you, who understands the subject!
