Disappointing experience with communication and service Our experience with this real estate agency was unfortunately not as expected. Communication was difficult: there was hardly any feedback, and we had to constantly inquire about the progress. Around viewings, we also had to call every time to find out if any viewings were scheduled and when they would take place. We have expressed our concerns about the inadequate communication several times.

From day one, we had a pleasant form of communication with the buyer's agent. During the process, for example with the draft purchase agreement, there were sometimes small errors, but you could immediately report these and they would be resolved directly for you. In addition, we also found our dream home. Also not unimportant, we didn't have to pay a cent too much.

From the start, there was complete openness and clarity about the path to be followed and the strategy. It was also clearly indicated what necessary information had to be provided. The approach was businesslike, efficient, and warm-hearted, and gave a lot of confidence.

The real estate agency Lauwaars guided us for about 5 years in our search for an apartment and the eventual sale of our own house. In particular Markus van der Werf, but also Hendrine and Ernst, supported us with much advice and action. They taught us a lot about how things work in this overheated housing market, ultimately achieving good results and to our full satisfaction. Especially in the final phase between purchase and sale when we were quite tense, Markus took all the time to help us with decisions that had to be made. It won't happen again, but if we ever start a new search, we will definitely work with them again!

I am enormously satisfied with Lauwaars Makelaars. The real estate agent advised me well and thoroughly before the sale (e.g., about preparing for sale) and involved me in the sales strategy (e.g., price, step-by-step plan). A clear and extensive brochure was created, with beautiful photos (and video and panorama photos on Funda). During the sale, the real estate agent was always personally present at viewings and also when the appraiser visited. I received good and timely information about that.

Very bad experience with Lauwaars Makelaars. From the beginning, communication was flawed: months of little to no feedback, no concrete actions and a totally non-proactive attitude. Promises about a quick sale and great interest were never fulfilled. Even after repeated insistence and a clear ultimatum, nothing changed. Due to this lack of commitment and responsibility, we are now in a difficult financial situation. Selling a house requires involvement and expertise – both of which I completely missed with this realtor. Absolutely not recommended.

For several months we have had truly lamentable contact with real estate agent Marcus van der Werf during the purchase of a home. It was very frustrating for us as interested parties. It has even gone so far that we received no response to our last offer. If you are looking for a sales broker, I would not recommend Lauwaars. There is a chance that potential buyers will drop out due to the way (of not) communicating.
