Unfortunately, Rental Rotterdam is not clear about the locations of viewings and open houses; you don't receive instructions as to where you need to be. Furthermore, they are very difficult to reach. If you are somewhere at your appointment time but no one sees you, and you can’t get through on the phone, that's it for you. Forget about it, because there are 100 others like you anyway. Review: Disappointing experience with Rental Rotterdam My husband went to a viewing and the contact was through him. We submitted everything neatly as requested, but then it remained silent from their side for a long time. There was absolutely no update, not even proactively. Only when my husband contacted them himself did we hear after three weeks that we didn't have a chance at the property. However, this was communicated without any explanation or reason. Foreigners get fewer chances faster. Because my husband is foreign. The communication was very disappointing and unprofessional. As potential tenants, we would have expected at least timely and transparent communication. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Rental Rotterdam based on this experience.

All by himself the rudest people I've ever had to talk to, period. After following the instructions in the email, I came to a location for a viewing via Google Maps navigation - the address was at least more than 150 meters away because the building complex started so far out. The 500 meter long building complex had mixed house numbers. When I called for help after searching for the apartment for over an hour, I was confronted with the rudest phone experience I've ever had - and I am 48 years old. They are more than happy to ask for the huge list of documents they need to process you and all your personal data, and they have no minute to help you deal with the situation you are experiencing. Sorry, but I cannot recommend their services. After spending 50 euros in petrol back and forth and over 2 hours of leave from work for the viewing, I cannot accept the situation.

Massive viewings. The letting agent was happy to be able to use the larger moving lift for viewings. The apartment turned out not to have a washing machine connection, which was not mentioned in the advertisement. Instead, you can pay €2.75 per wash for the shared washing machines. The letting agent has never seen it busy at the washing machines, but the current resident has. For the selection procedure, an unreasonable number of documents are requested. In addition to this, a deposit of €500 is required, which you will not get back if you decide not to proceed with the property.
