We bought a house where Real Estate Agents Makelaars Makelaars was assigned as the real estate agent. Everything went well with documentation and all. But it was difficult to communicate with this agency. They hardly picked up the phone! Also, email responses were not timely. We also heard nothing from them about the final inspection; they only arranged it after we asked.

Bad experience
Our viewing was cancelled 10 minutes before the appointment. It cost us every 3 hours of free time to view the house, the extremely short notification is utterly disrespectful and a waste of the viewer's time. We sent an email and tried to call the day before the viewing to make sure it was still available. The viewing was confirmed this morning and cancelled while we were already out of the metro and walking towards the house. It was totally shocking when I was on the street and heard this from the agent.

We are very satisfied with the purchase of the house. Jelle acted quickly, correctly and friendly. He was also well informed and able to answer our questions well. He also spoke to me as a buyer with good advice.
After a somewhat bumpy start, I did have a nice connection with this realtor.
I think that this realtor doesn't have a real network and he does nothing but waits for someone to react via Funda. Ultimately our house was sold, but it took much too long. So little performance for the expensive money. Not clear regarding costs either.
Sloppy and unprofessional broker with poor communication. Unfortunately, we sold our house through Rotterdam Estate. During this sales process, the broker made the following mistakes: 1) Certain things were incorrect in the purchase agreement: date of right of leasehold, seller's passport number, section number, etc. We noticed these problems ourselves. Attention to detail is therefore zero 2) He sent us photos of another house. 3) The advertisement was placed on Funda without 2D/3D drawings. It took another 10 days for the 2D drawing to go live. 4) Very poor communication: no update on the number of callers or viewers, unless we called the broker. We learned that our house had been sold because Funda sent us an email. Other (professional) brokers send daily updates 5) The broker lost our keychain. His answer: 'This risk lies with you and it would have been wiser to give us the keys without the hanger back then.' Conclusion: It is wiser to choose an online broker instead of this amateur broker. That is at least much cheaper.
January 4th bought a house and not even received a little gift. It feels just like, nicely earned and now get lost with them. Unprofessional-Uninterested
The contact was very personal throughout the entire process from searching to purchasing my apartment. And I was very well helped by Jelle and Jaap, because this was all new to me, I experienced a lot here. Due to their professionalism and accuracy, they advised against several apartments due to rot etc., which saved me a significant amount of money and trouble! Many real estate agents in Rotterdam have a limit of 3 viewings (you pay extra for each additional viewing) and that is almost not feasible these days. And I will definitely use their services again next time! So I can certainly recommend Rotterdam Estate!
