Do not rent via Top Select Visit or Top Select Housing! I live in Amsterdam and my mother (who lives in the US) and I had a terrible experience with this company. My mother had signed a short-term lease agreement starting in September 2020. However, due to the travel ban between the US and Europe related to COVID-19, she could not travel. In July 2020, she contacted the company to inquire about their cancellation policy and whether she would get her deposit (2500 euros) back if the travel ban was not lifted. It took almost a month for the company to respond that she would not get her deposit back because she had cancelled less than 60 days in advance, but that she could use the deposit for another rental property in the future. The possibility of using the deposit for another apartment in 2021 is also mentioned in the email. (Although I knew that this was happening, I did not know the name of the company and also knew nothing about the apartment she had rented.) Now that travel between the US and Europe is again allowed, my mother has planned a new trip. I looked for an apartment for her and found one that happened to be managed by this company. When they sent us the lease contract draft, I forwarded it to my mother for review. At that moment she realized not only was the company the same, but also the same apartment. I contacted the company and told them about this development. I said that we wanted to use the deposit for this new lease agreement. THEY SAID THAT THIS WAS NOT POSSIBLE. The reasons they gave us for not allowing us to use the deposit were: 1) They believed that we had manipulated the situation to be able to rent the same apartment again. (We had not done that.) 2) When it became clear that the company would not return the deposit in 2020, despite the travel ban which my mother had no control over, my mother sent a message stating that she did not want to go forward with them anymore. The company believes this invalidates their offer to use the deposit for another rental property. (That is not true. I have checked with a lawyer.) 3) The company says they did not need to honor the deposit because my mother had paid the first deposit in 2020 and because I arranged the new lease agreement. (Although they knew that I was arranging the rental for my mother, that she would be paying the rent and her name and details were also on the lease contract draft.) Furthermore, the company threatened legal action if I posted a negative review on social media. My mother and I have decided not to pursue this further and we will never again do business with this company or recommend it to anyone. The way this situation was handled, the fact that the company accused us of manipulating the situation to get our deposit back, the rudeness of the man I spoke with, and their refusal to work with us to find a solution to actually use the deposit, are more than enough reasons for me to conclude that this company is unprofessional and dishonest.

Pararius is an enormous fine and reliable party to offer all my buy and sell offers of homes. I appreciate it very much that the homes are almost immediately visible on the website after registering via the CRM system. Also, I find the search functions clear and the overall image of good quality. The cherry on top is the semi-annual report with numbers about the average registration duration, speed of rental, average prices, etc. This gives me a good picture of where my company stands in comparison to the conculega's in Amsterdam and surroundings.

I don't understand why this company gets so many 5-star reviews. Years ago I rented a 20 M2 apartment through interhouse for 800E per month. After I luckily managed to get another apartment, I wanted to terminate the lease, but that wasn't allowed, so I would have to involve the housing tribunal for this way too expensive house, then I would be summoned (mariniersweg). So besides being milked dry, you're also threatened with empty words. They actively participate and profit from the housing shortage. After I said not to be afraid of this cheaper way of intimidation, I could terminate the lease, but my deposit was gone, which is 2 months that interhouse has pocketed. All the evidence is at hand, as far as possible I would strongly advise against this company. Unless you're a shady house melter looking for a partner in crime. Then you're at the perfect address here. And emailing, ho but. They know damn well what they're actively involved in and prefer to do nothing over the phone. Coming in person is preferred so that you can be intimidated, unfortunately it didn't work (well, in the sense that they made a student pay 1600 euros on top of the already way too high rent for the doghouse it was. Today, while I was trying to sleep, my baby cried, like all normal babies of their age, nervously and unceasingly at my bell to tell my husband that he was trying to rent a house and it seemed too noisy for the tenants. The next time something so intimidating and intrusive to our privacy happens, I will report you to the authorities for unacceptable and inhumane behavior.

A good place to search for apartments in the complex rental market of Amsterdam. Absolutely a better search option than other available options so far. It would be nice if advertisers/real estate agents were asked to remove advertisements as soon as an apartment is rented out. I've already seen a number where the advertisements remain and the real estate agent then shares a more expensive advertisement via e-mail. Advertisers/real estate agents should also be required to state the actual rent price instead of a lower price to pass through the filters and then put extra costs in the description. This is misleading and undermines trust. Finally, the search filters still need to be improved. For example, the price filter disappears when additional filters are added in the 'more' section. Of course, the price filter can be re-added, but it's annoying to have to do this repeatedly.

Eind januari klopte ik bij Interhouse aan voor een bezichtiging bij een appartement wat zij aanboden. Direct de volgende dag kon ik de woning bezichtigen. De bezichtiging zelf met Martijn was heel prettig, hij gaf bruikbare tips en had antwoord op al mijn vragen, verder was hij ook geïnteresseerd in wat ik zelf deed. Dat vond ik erg prettig, ik heb ook bezichtigingen gehad waar de makelaar de deur open deed en verder in een hoekje ongeduldig stond te wachten tot ik klaar was met kijken. Nadat ik had aangegeven de woning te willen huren is alles in werking gezet. Ook dit is heel snel en prettig verlopen, het contact met office manager Jordi was super. Ik heb nog nooit iemand zoveel gebeld als hem, maar hij bleef vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je merkt ook dat ze bij Interhouse echt weten waar ze het over hebben. Daarbij komt ook dat ze echt snel zijn met het in orde maken van alle documenten, het contact met de eigenaar van de woning en het plannen van afspraken. Al en met al heeft het hele proces van bezichtiging tot aan sleutel ontvangst twee weken geduurd. Dit was sneller dan ik had durven dromen! Daarom raad ik het iedereen die een huurwoning zoekt om een kijkje te nemen op de website van Interhouse. Team Interhouse, nogmaals bedankt voor al jullie hulp!
