He was always easy to reach (Certainly also in the evening and on weekends), thought actively along and made the entire sales process very pleasant. Wil has excellently guided and advised us, which enabled us to sell our house quickly and at a very good price. After the first introductory conversation where already a good feeling was dominant, Wil proceeded appropriately, involved us and gave full 100% commitment, with a fantastic result. 06 Dec 2025Friendship politics. Recently offered on a property. I was the highest bidder. Then they come up with a higher bid of 800 euros AFTER the bidding period has expired. Then they say they went into a much higher bid. Just ridiculous. Friendship politics. They tell the highest bid to acquaintances and/or friends. Contact has already been made with VBO. Why do you even set a bidding period if you don't intend to stick to it? Not even that one star are they worth!! Don't do business with this shady, fraudulent, sleazy real estate agent!!

We closed a very good deal within a reasonable timeframe, but what we appreciated the most was his honesty. He didn't just try to sell us something; he advised us against making offers when he thought a purchase wasn't convenient, and showed genuine dedication to finding the best deal for us. He supported us throughout the entire process and helped us with the notary and the appraisal report. Even when things stalled due to issues with the mortgage advisor, Hugo took the initiative. He proposed the right solution that got things moving again and made sure we received the keys on the original contract date. As a cherry on top, we found a beautiful welcome gift in our new house! The photos were great and I think they really helped with the marketing of the house. Rob took the time to make sure we did everything we needed to do, because selling a house in the Netherlands is very different than in the United Kingdom. We will be sad to leave this house, but we wish the new owners a nice life there.

Ultimately, I bought another house, but Remko had made an impression on me and so when it was time to sell the house I ultimately bought, I went to him. I'm glad I did that, because he is fantastic: he puts everything else aside, is positive and energetic (without being aggressive), expert, patient and honest. I've already recommended him to another friend (who was also very happy with the collaboration) and would do that again without hesitation!

I got help at every step in the process, which can sometimes be complicated, especially as an expat not used to the workings of the system and who doesn't speak Dutch. Overall, however, the process went quickly. I started the collaboration in March and by the end of May I moved into the apartment. This is because we started negotiating directly as soon as I spotted an apartment. The fact that I was the first to see the apartment and that Arjan was well aware of the house prices in the area, was good at estimating the property's value, gave me a good estimate of its worth and negotiated directly and well, has helped a lot in closing the sale. Now I live happily in my house and am grateful to the entire team for making this possible.

25 Nov 2025It was already more than 12 years ago that we needed a real estate agent for the sale of our house. At that time, we ended up with Maarten Makelaardij and were very satisfied. And now again. From the first viewings, several interested parties came and one of them will soon be the new owner of our home. Herjan and Angelique from MM have guided us well through the entire process of preparation - with pleasant and professional partners for photography, floor plans and measurements -, starting the sale, viewings and negotiations. With a nice result!

The conversation was relaxed and pleasant, and then everything went into overdrive. Communication with Priscilla was also super clear and very nice! Nothing was too much to ask and everything was well explained. Thanks to their expert advice and the beautiful presentation of our apartment, everything went better than expected. The sale proceeded quickly and smoothly, and we were always kept nicely informed. We are really very happy that we chose Maarten Makelaardij. Top service and more than a great result. Thank you!

25 Oct 2025Very nice contact during the entire sales process! Gina and Jesper gave us a lot of explanations, and the whole sale felt like a party. Low-threshold discussions were always possible, we have felt supported throughout and had clear process guidance. All tips led to a quick sale in 5 days, very nice! We hope now to move into our forever home, but should we ever sell again, we would definitely do it again with Maarten Makelaardij!

Our apartment was sold within a month subject to sale. In the meantime, it is listed as sold on Funda.
