Mark helped us very pleasantly with the sale of our house. He guided us through all steps in the process and thought along well with us. The approach was very personal, and the communication was good. The way he approached viewers and buyers is also personal, which we found very important. For example, Mark calmly reviewed the purchase contract with the buyers because they did not have a purchasing broker themselves. The period between sale and transfer can be long, and Mark would occasionally check in to hear how things were going. Until the moment of transfer, we could turn to him with our questions, which gave us a lot of confidence. With the approach and presentation of Aan de Maas Makelaardij, we were able to sell our house with a very beautiful result and fully adhere to our intended planning.

Super nice realtor! Eight years ago, we built a house in Rotterdam with mostly our own resources and completely according to our own ideas in an old garage building. The result was far from standard in terms of appearance and layout. From the very first conversation with Mark from Aan de Maas Makelaardij, it became clear that he flawlessly understood what the unique points of the house were, and what kind of buyers would be looking for them. He understood our wishes, knew the neighborhood, and was also always open to our eccentric opinion. Mark therefore guided us in a very pleasant and patient way during the sale, and it could not have taken place in a better way. We also had very good contact with Maarten in a short period of time. We would definitely ask Aan de Maas again if we were ever going to sell a house in the region; together they are skilled and personal realtors who won't let you down. Truly recommended!

Buying an apartment in the Netherlands is not an easy task, especially if you don't live locally and don't know how the Dutch market works, so choosing Maarten as my real estate agent was one of the best decisions in this process. Before Maarten started house hunting, I had already viewed 3 houses myself, but during the next three viewings with Maarten, I quickly realized that having an experienced real estate agent by your side is a great asset. He has a very sharp eye for detail and made sure he took notes during each viewing and pointed out important things that I would definitely miss. I immediately felt calm in this process and trusted Maarten completely. He was available on WhatsApp when I had questions and kept in touch, even during the mortgage process, which takes several weeks, and afterwards. I would never recommend Remax to my friends and family. We had a bad experience with them when we bought our first house. The communication with the person who was supposed to help us was very poor. For example, he didn't show up at the last meeting where we signed the house contract, even though he said he would. This wasn't the first incident either. It was a shame!

The washing machine in my apartment stopped working, so I contacted Charlotte Koenen of Verra Makelaars via email. Charlotte immediately responded to my email and tried all methods to help me solve the problem remotely. As we discovered that the issue was more complicated, Charlotte helped me arrange a specialist (Feriani from Fortius Cleaning & Onderhoud) to visit my apartment. Feriani is great. He quickly fixed the problem, the washing machine now works perfectly. It was a wonderful experience and once again many thanks to Charlotte Koenen!

The apartment has never been vacant for a single day, not even when tenants changed. Verra always found a new tenant within no time, and importantly, really nice tenants. My experience with Verra is very bad. Either the expertise is very poor, or the disinformation is intentional. I give one star for recommending the apartment specifically from the area in which I was interested, because luckily (?) it was all on their own list and they really wanted to get it rented out. Suggestions to see other apartments that would fall within my budget had to come from myself. Incorrectly informed items: 1. The apartment was advertised as fully furnished, as seen during the viewing, with the exception of the TV and some personal belongings. Upon moving in, I notice that the 'personal belongings' are broader than I assumed, since the apartment was actually empty. Verra took no responsibility for miscommunication and it is true that I did not ask everything in writing that I wanted to stay there. I am glad they at least left the bed, washing machine and a few spoons, as I also didn’t confirm them. 2. After moving in, I discovered that there is no TV/internet cable running to the house. It took months for Verra, together with the owner/internet provider, to find a solution for internet in the apartment. Ultimately, I organized the installations myself and sent the bill to the owner. 3. Verra has also had problems with my rental agreement, rent statement and providing translations of documents that I have to sign. Communication about how these are resolved is poor or does not exist. Update: Although I had confirmed with Verra (via email) that heating should be included in the rent, this is not the case in the contract they entered into with my company (not with me). I only found out about this a year later when Verra asked for reimbursement. I have no insight into the contract and the requested information has also not been provided to me. Again, no responsibility is taken on the part of Verra due to their disinformation between counterparties. I would not trust them to work with them again due to a lack of transparency.

Don't even try to contact them unless you are prepared to pay €1800 excl. VAT. g/w/e for a studio or small apartment for a single-person household. Look elsewhere, it's not worth your time.

Five stars for this realtor. Not rushed, well informed about prices in the area, skilled. It also clicked immediately during the first meeting. This realtor managed to sell the house in the right price range, neat and polite, handled everything personally with a quick and pleasant contact. This realtor also helped me a proverbial 'ton' to keep my 'workload' as low as possible. Nice when you have to sell the house of your recently deceased parents and you already have enough on your 'plate'. I am also very satisfied with Laurens and his team! 👍

The contact with the real estate agent was excellent despite the malicious and false emails that my neighbor sent about me and my house when he saw the house under offer on Funda. The real estate agent informed me and the buyer but remained neutral. The whole thing became a troublesome, lengthy affair, but the real estate agent remained involved. Now everything has been investigated and it has become clear that the treacherous neighbor spread slander out of nowhere and the sale is finalized.
