It probably depends on the realtor, but none of the promises made beforehand were kept and I had to chase my realtor with advertisements to get him to do his job. Ultimately, I got two viewings in four months. Because I had to move within two weeks, I ultimately had to settle for an apartment that did not meet any of my requirements, was full of mold, and was represented by a friend of that realtor. I believe that my realtor has since left VERRA, which is positive. Despite this, my experience with this company was terrible.

Date unknownThe washing machine in my apartment stopped working, so I contacted Charlotte Koenen of Verra Makelaars via email. Charlotte immediately responded to my email and tried all methods to help me solve the problem remotely. As we discovered that the issue was more complicated, Charlotte helped me arrange a specialist (Feriani from Fortius Cleaning & Onderhoud) to visit my apartment. Feriani is great. He quickly fixed the problem, the washing machine now works perfectly. It was a wonderful experience and once again many thanks to Charlotte Koenen!

Date unknownMy experience with Verra is very bad. Either the expertise is very poor, or the disinformation is intentional. I give one star because I specifically recommended the apartment in the neighborhood that I was interested in, because luckily(?) for both, it was on their own list and they really wanted to rent it out. Suggestions to view other apartments that would fit my budget had to come from myself. Incorrect information: 1. The apartment was advertised as fully furnished, as seen during the viewing, except for the TV and some personal belongings. Upon moving in, I noticed that the 'personal belongings' were a bit larger than I expected, because the apartment was essentially empty. Verra took no responsibility for miscommunication and it is true that I did not request in writing what I wanted to leave behind. I am glad they at least left the bed, washing machine and a few spoons, as I also didn’t confirm those. 2. After the move, I discovered that there was no TV/internet cable in the house. It took months for Verra to come up with a solution with the owner/internet provider on how to arrange the internet connection in the apartment. Ultimately, I arranged the installation myself and sent the bill to the owner. 3. Verra has also had problems with my rental agreement, rent statement and translating documents that I have to sign. The communication about how these problems are resolved is poor or completely absent. Update: Although I confirmed with Verra (this by email) that heating is included in the rent, that is not stated in the contract they entered into with my company (not with me). I discovered this a year later when Verra asked for reimbursement. I have no insight into the contract and the requested information has also not been provided to me. Again, Verra takes no responsibility for their disinformation between the parties. I would not want to work with them again due to the lack of transparency.

07 May 2025It's hard to imagine that I, even more than a month since the transfer of ownership, am still dealing with this company. 😞 Buying or selling a house is already stressful enough. There is so much paperwork and cooperation with this agency has only made everything more complicated. Important messages between buyer and seller were often missed due to poor communication from their realtor, leading to significant losses in time, money, and peace of mind. Honestly, I don't understand how they got such high Google reviews. 🤔 ⚠️If you are considering working with them, think carefully.

Date unknownDisappointing! Unlike expected, Laurens wasn't always our point of contact and not present on our first sales day. The text they wrote gave us the feeling that they didn't understand the neighborhood and the apartment. Advice on how to better present the house came in the form of a short (I would say worthless) pdf. The photographer was good, though. I got the feeling that they want to keep their work brief. Good price but basic service.

I can definitely recommend Huysvisie as a selling agent. - Fast communication (always received a response within a few hours), but also quick switching with documents/sales contract etc. - Laurian was not only my sales agent but also the agent of the sellers of our new house, Therefore, I experienced him during the viewing. He really takes the time and is transparent, which gave a warm and welcoming feeling and made the viewing very pleasant for us (in contrast to many other viewings). No fluff and beautiful speeches but just an honest impression. - Room was provided for own input in e.g., the text accompanying the advertisement on Funda and it was guaranteed that I would be 100% satisfied with a text or photo before it went online. All in all, I can definitely recommend Huysvisie!
