26 Nov 2025After I had neatly submitted 2 requests to view a house. I received a confirmation that they would process my request, but after a few workdays still nothing. The first email was on a Friday when the house had just been put online. This morning I got a call saying that something had gone wrong with the emails can happen. 2x in a row with 2 workdays in between is quite coincidental. Apart from the fact that they suddenly found my email. And just saying it can mean nothing for you. And when you ask what can you offer as a solution. Can mean nothing for you and can do nothing for you. Find it quite ridiculous that they don't even bother to look for a solution for you or just simply say sorry.

Excellent and knowledgeable explanation for the valuation by Jessica with an extensive folder, good photographer, 2 days of viewings by two nice and friendly real estate agents Denise and Jessica. For Dylan from the back office also a big feather, responds quickly and organizes everything very well. My house was sold within 2 weeks. I would recommend Yess Real Estate to everyone. 03 Nov 2025⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are really SUPER SATISFIED with the service of Yess Real Estate and can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who wants to buy or sell a home. We came across Yess by chance during a viewing in Barendrecht and received a card then. Later we had an introductory meeting with Denise, and that felt right away good: spontaneous, social and clearly expert. Therefore we chose her as our purchase agent, and we have not regretted that for a moment. The contact was very low-threshold, via phone and WhatsApp, always quick and friendly. We received clear explanations for our (sometimes many) questions and doubts, and that gave a lot of trust. Viewings were quickly arranged, while we were at work, and Yess always made good preparations with points of attention and relevant documents. Therefore we always knew where to pay attention. The bidding advice was also realistic and well-founded, with an eye for the market and our situation. It's nice that they have building knowledge in house at Yess – that gave extra insight and prevented us from bidding on the wrong homes. Of course, every realtor wants to sell, but in the past I sometimes missed the real involvement with similar service providers. At handover, you are told that the garage lock is broken, no loft exists, and the electricity doesn't work. Because we expect 10 people and 2 suppliers the weekend after, we reluctantly agreed anyway. WRONG!!! This broker wants to "buy off" all of this with €200,= . Just the garage lock would already cost €250,= excl. VAT and excl. installation. Don't let these cowboys pull the wool over your eyes like we did. Read everything carefully because it is all covered in small print and pretty talk. Check everything, and if you can’t check something, DO IT CORRECTLY. If you still do business with these cowboys, make sure you have good legal assistance. Trust is good, but checking is better

Date unknownFor those who find the story a bit too long, a short message. Be careful with one of the employees. Some time ago we viewed a house for sale via At Home. Our appointment was with one of the real estate agents. He initially seems nice but ultimately everyone's true nature comes to the surface. After the viewing, we made an offer on the house. The next day we were called and told that the house was almost ours, but we were in competition with another party. The message was whether we could increase our bid. If we did this, the house would certainly be ours. Ultimately, we did so and we thought we had bought a house. Afterwards, we were called again and he told us that there was an additional requirement. We had to arrange our mortgage through Hypotake4You. He had good connections with this advisor and thus the seller had certainty that we could also borrow the offered amount. This is actually quite superfluous since we made our offer subject to financing. A quick Google search for Hypotake4You reveals: It's the neighbor of AtHome. In other words: the real estate agent wanted (his friends) to make some money (have made) at our expense. Based on this condition, we withdrew our bid. Conclusion: the real estate agent conducts an unfair business and tries to earn extra money at the expense of others. Real estate agents already have a bad name and people like this confirm it! Advice to everyone: Do not do business with AtHome! Nobody (except them) will benefit much from this. Throughout Barendrecht, we now see advertising boards for AtHome real estate agency. You as (seller): Consider that you pay for that. Is that really necessary? There are still plenty of other agents in the region who are more honest and don't all place unnecessary advertisements.

Promises that are not kept, language errors in the brochure, access doors that were not closed after a viewing and much more, but the worst was a forgotten viewing (with people who came from far away!!). Our house was for sale for 7 months during which we repeatedly heard that it was a “difficult house” in a “difficult village”. Lowering the price at our insistence while the original asking price (confirmed by several other real estate agents in the region) was more than realistic. We were discouraged. After the forgotten viewing, we had enough and looked for another agent. Within 3 (!!!!) weeks, our house was sold subject to conditions and recently definitively sold. With an agent who luckily does understand how it works! Very special are the positive reviews (see also Facebook). Majority of those reactions originating from own employees and family/friends/acquaintances. No cure, no pay sounds very attractive but ultimately you get absolutely nothing out of it with this party.

If you're looking for a realtor to sell your house in Barendrecht and surrounding areas, I’ll go with Jaap Vin, Q makelaar, Woonvisie or another realtor. Honest, reliable and genuine is what a seller looks for in a realtor. The bad reviews on Facebook have all been removed, and the good reviews are very coincidentally friends of the gentlemen.
