We are disappointed with how the sales process of our home went through Oosting Makelaars Assen. The expectations were high as we consciously chose this office because it is known as one of the best real estate agencies in the region. Unfortunately, that reputation was not upheld for us. The guidance fell far short of what had been promised beforehand. Instead of being taken care of, we had to do a lot ourselves, such as writing the Funda text and other important aspects of the sales process. Ultimately, we largely had to handle the sale ourselves, which is not what you expect from a professional real estate agency. Afterward, I had a conversation with the agent Wouter over a cup of coffee. To my surprise, he stated that everything had gone perfectly fine. That lack of self-reflection and failure to acknowledge how the process was for us, found me disappointing and unfortunately also typical of our cooperation. We had hoped for professional support and personal involvement, but felt left to our own devices most of all. In our opinion, not recommended.
