Good name! Trust comes walking and goes riding. Even if there is sometimes a problem or negative outcome, I know my wife and her colleagues no differently than that they will handle it to try and resolve it for everyone in a win-win situation.

Instead of following a transparent process, they manipulate the sale by only informing their preferred buyers and giving them the opportunity to outbid. This is pure fraud and utterly unprofessional. It's better to buy your house through an honest and reputable realtor – you’d better avoid this one!

By having the appraisal done here for the purchase of a home, we either had to pay an additional 10,000 euro or have another paid appraisal done by another party because the first appraisal was not real. Unfortunately, we had to incur extra costs as a result, which we could have prevented by not choosing Kleurrijk Makelaars.

05 Sep 2025From the beginning, incredibly poor communication. We are constantly promised to be contacted, but it never happens. Heard 6 weeks before the handover that there was a 4-week delay, everything had to be cancelled, annulled and postponed. We had to initiate contact ourselves, otherwise we wouldn't have heard anything at all. At the time of key transfer, the entire house was still full of belongings from the old owner. The real estate agent did nothing about this! The notary said that a mortgage should not have been arranged in this situation and the sale should not have gone ahead. The skylight turned out to be broken and unable to close. No suitable solution was found here either, and we were referred to the old owner, with whom we do not want any contact. Various items/appliances had to remain behind during the handover; these were on the street with the bulky waste. Again, no responsibility was taken and we were not helped, even though it was blacked out in writing on the list of takeover items. We had to help clear the house for 4 hours together with the former resident because otherwise we wouldn't have been able to move in on time. In addition, all visitors who wanted to come by in the afternoon had to be cancelled. Unfortunately, buying our first home has become a dark day, which should actually have been one of the most beautiful days ever. A sad affair.

Date unknownWe were looking for a real estate agent to sell our house. The agent came by, a nice man on the surface, but totally unprepared. That seemed very uninterested. He mainly emphasized that he sold houses in another neighborhood for 15% more than another agent from the village. He didn't pick up on the fact that we didn't find that so interesting but were more interested in how houses were being sold in our neighborhood and what his advice was. He couldn't give any advice about the selling price because he hadn’t done any preliminary research. The other 2 real estate agents (out of which we ultimately chose one) were well prepared and immediately came with good and realistic advice. But anyway, that wasn't the worst thing. He said he would call us back the next morning with advice about the selling price. You can guess it, never heard anything again. Called the office, they said they would pass it on but a week later still nothing. Called again to say that we didn’t think this was very nice, but there was no reaction to that either. Afterwards, after some inquiries in the village, we heard more experiences like this. So if you are looking for an uninterested real estate agent, you have come to the right place.

It’s a shame you react like this. We have explained to you how the sales process will proceed. In doing so, you and all other interested parties receive a fair and equal chance. First to view the property and study the information, and then possibly submit a bid. We haven't adjusted the sales process because you requested it. That’s not how things work, of course. We understand that you may find this unpleasant, but we have no understanding for this review. The sales procedure is still ongoing and initially you still have as much chance as everyone else. When you ultimately make the best bid (for the seller), you can still become a buyer. Be aware that 'the best bid' is not solely determined by the highest price. The seller determines who becomes the buyer based on the quality of the bids and 'gunning'.

We viewed many houses and put in many bids but never won a bid because our agent was doing an extremely poor job, bordering on a scam. Once we switched to the Flatons, local to the Pijnacker/Delfgauw area, we found a house within a month. We are expats living and working in the Netherlands, we face some additional difficulties.

05 Jan 2025It's been a while again, but they also deserve this review on this platform: We bought two houses and sold one through Flaton! Super professionally treated. They thought along well during the bidding process, but are also open to the client’s own choices. You are not forced to accept their advice. Eric was present at almost every viewing as a buyer's broker back then. With serious bids, he always came along anyway. Flaton offers a fair price! No crazy constructions with bonuses on overbidding or percentages on purchase. A fixed price for purchase (+fixed extra per viewing) and a fixed percentage on the sale. Everything was openly, honestly and clearly communicated. No unwanted surprises afterwards. In addition, Flaton is very actively involved in the community and undertakes socially responsible activities. They sponsor local events and sports clubs, charities (including the Opkikker Foundation) and are also actively involved themselves. You can see him running during the local half marathon, for example!

28 Aug 2025In the period May – August, we hired MDM real estate agency to help us sell the house. She reacted alertly and quickly and had already done her homework prior to the first appointment. She indicated for which price similar properties in the street had been sold before, critically but positively assessed the condition of our house and provided a proposal with a sales strategy. The strategy seemed good to us and her asking price was well-reasoned. Within 10 working days, photos and video recordings of the house were made with professional quality and placed on Funda. A flyer was also distributed in the neighborhood. We could follow the interest ourselves on Funda and a week later the first viewings took place. A week later, the first three bids came in and we were pleased to note that there was a good offer. The process from bid to sale was handled punctually and efficiently and overdracht (transfer) could take place in mid-August. Looking back, I give the following profile for MDM real estate agency: Professional, efficient, punctual, focus on client’s interest, honest and friendly. On the next occasion, we will call her first.

Date unknownApril 2023 MDM Makelaardij has once again acted quickly. This time not during the purchase of a home, but during the sale. Conveniently scheduled viewings and a nice offer. Again happy! April 2021 That quick action is possible has been demonstrated at MDM Makelaardij. Within 30 minutes after the viewing I had to make an offer, Henriette helped me well with that. And with result: 2.5 hours later I bought a house. About buying a few shoes I take longer... Thank you Henriette!

My parents, both 70+, did not have a sustainable home (purchase). Henriette searched and found a beautiful and affordable rental property for my parents. She based her search on the wishes of my parents. Without Henriette, it would not have been possible for my parents and me to find a new and safe house so quickly. We are very satisfied.
