Unprecedented unprofessional realtor. We were 2 minutes later than the agreed time - the realtor had already left. We called, and Mrs. stated that if we weren't there exactly on time, she would leave. I understand that it’s a difficult market and that realtors can make anything work. But this is beyond all reason.

Unreliable and bad experience. During the viewing, I explicitly asked the sales broker John van Den Bosch whether there were any problems with the foundation after I saw that the floor was sloping; it was stated during this appointment that there were no foundation problems. After simply consulting Google, I came across a news item in RTV Rijnmond about a foundation problem and that specifically mentioned this street. Afterwards, I contacted the municipality and they were able to send me a report and explanation regarding these specific houses. The content of this report clearly showed that there was indeed a major problem with the foundation, especially in this block of the street. It is also stated that these houses sink every year and that a solution must be found for it, and this responsibility and costs lie with the homeowners with possible help from the municipality. Besides regretting that the above information was not mentioned during the viewing, I think these costs were totally not calculated into the price and certainly not into my offer. Ultimately, I withdrew my bid of 180,000 K.K. To my surprise, I received an email from this broker and seller stating that they were very surprised and unaware of anything and whether I could forward the report. Just to sketch out the situation; with the naked eye, and discussed on site, you can see that there is subsidence. I am a private bidder (not so familiar with real estate) living in Amsterdam, who does not know Rotterdam well and performs a few checks using a simple method; Google and the municipality of Rotterdam, using common sense. And then assumes the correct information from a selling broker. The report can simply be requested via the municipality and I did this after several news items from Rijnmond from 2018 about this neighborhood. If you then, as a broker, tell the seller that they are surprised, I think you should delve deeper into the things you sell. If you still ask me to forward this report, I would be deeply ashamed as a broker and do my homework a little better. And then I get the idea that I am better informed than you about a property that you are selling. Quickly selling a poorly founded property by withholding information. Shame on real estate brokerage.

It's just a very good realtor (in this case Daan Kardol) with understanding of things, professional and deliver very good quality also the ladies secretary, assistant realtor etc. Just super good really a recommendation to take this realtor.

10 years ago I bought my house through Zuidstad. That's why I used them again for the sale. We received the same expertise during the sale as we did when purchasing. Especially because it was the same real estate agent. This gave a familiar feeling which turned out to be completely justified.

The real estate agent has no knowledge of the matter, which is not uncommon; we, as potential buyers, knew more about the property than he did. He was also completely uninterested, and you'd think that considering it's an apartment in the higher price segment, that’s quite something! This apartment has been for sale for almost 3 years now and needs to be styled to speed up the sale. This real estate agent can try now and hoped to sell it quickly without the client having to incur costs (certainly not a favour from this man/client). It is presented as if they wanted to offer us this super opportunity. As a real estate agent, you must always be well informed. Moreover, he stood behind you in every room in a very irritating way so that you couldn't experience anything on your own terms.
