Instead of trying to reach an agreement, he threatened to send a debt collector to our employer to have us pay the rest of the bill after we had already paid the agreed half, which we found reasonable. He never sent us proof that he had filed a lawsuit against us. Was it just intimidation? We don't know. Therefore, ask for an inspection report to protect yourself and prevent such disputes.
