Vlotte communicatie en meedenkend. Makelaar staat echt wel voor haar klanten en doet alles wat nodig is om een goede presentatie en verkoop te stimuleren. De kennis van de regio is zeer goed en het contact laagdrempelig. Het is ondertussen de tweede woning die wij bij Smolders verkopen en de tweede keer dat we hebben gekocht bij Smolders. De eerste indruk was goed. Later waren we teleurgesteld in de makelaar door het gebrek aan persoonlijk contact. Alles gaat digitaal, akkoord. Dat is van deze tijd. Echter bij zoiets groots als de verkoop van je woning, is het toch ook heel fijn als er even een moment de tijd genomen kan worden om zaken persoonlijk met elkaar te bespreken. Bij bezoek aan het kantoor kon er ook geen kopje koffie af. Erg afstandelijk en onpersoonlijk. Eerlijkheid gebiedt wel te zeggen dat ons huis …

Mijn huis was binnen twee weken verkocht tegen een goede prijs, De makelaar heeft me prima en vlot geholpen. Ook toen ineens bleek dat ik de sleutel van mijn nieuwe huis pas in februari kreeg heeft de gezorgd dat ik een maand extra kreeg om te verhuizen.

Bijzonder professioneel, meedenkend en volledig ontzorgd! Heel erg fijne samenwerking. Zou ze iedereen aan kunnen bevelen voor zowel verkoop als aankoop!

'If you like a healthy dose of chaos and a real estate agent who creatively deals with reality, then Smolders Makelaars is the party for you. Our experience? A string of 'oops-moments' that you rather wouldn't have when buying a house. A small glimpse into our trick box: • Mathematics is an opinion: The purchase price in the deed didn't match. When we pointed this out, we were asked what we thought they should do. (Tip: Maybe filling in the correct numbers?) • Privacy? Which privacy?: Our complete purchase deed including all our personal data was sent without hesitation to a stranger. AVG-proof? Definitely not. Sloppy? Absolutely. • The disappearing solar panels: There were 24 on Funda, but there turned out to be 22 on the roof. Apparently, solar panels at Smolders are like socks in the washing machine: a few always go missing. • The charging station lottery: In the advertisement it said 'present', but when signing, it turned out to be 'to be transferred'. A small detail, just like the fact that they promise to respond within a week to complaints, but then keep radio silence. As soon as the signature is there, every problem suddenly becomes your problem. At this office you don't just get a house, but also a free course on 'how do I check someone else's work'. Conclusion: Do you have steel nerves and like to take advertisement texts with a large pinch of salt? Then you're in the right place. For everyone else: keep your calculator and your privacy settings at hand.

First, your bid is accepted with a viewing and the possibility of making an offer within 24 hours. If you are then honest about needing more time to arrange things because mortgage interest rates are rising enormously quickly and everything changes financially as a result, you won't get any time to sort it out. We had asked for signing after 5 days. On the day you go to sign, you suddenly hear that the sellers no longer want to do business with you, and through various channels, you hear that there is suddenly another offer. Very unfortunate because a mortgage application had already been made and everything was already arranged. Even if our dream house were for sale here, I would never trust myself again to view it and make an offer. Verbal commitments mean nothing here! And you don't get any leeway either; everything must be arranged within 3 days.

First part of the experience with Smolders was good. The viewing was fine and we received an adequate answer to most questions. It was especially after we placed a bid that the service took a dive. Three times we received the promise to be called back. Unfortunately, the appointment was never kept. There was no feedback and we therefore didn't know at all what the status was. After a period of three weeks, we were told that we hadn't made the highest offer. Subsequently, a few days later, we were told that, after the highest bidder dropped out, we were in line. Besides us, there would still be another party. We could raise our bid again. Since we were already significantly above the asking price, we did so with a small amount. More as a gesture of goodwill. Even after submitting our increased bid, we had to call ourselves again and received no feedback. After 2 days, we finally received a phone call that we did have the highest offer but that the buyers still wanted considerably more money for the property. This while we were already significantly above the asking price. Then we decided to withdraw our bid and move on. After a period of 4 weeks, we were done with the uncertainty. All in all, a frustrating process where we didn't feel comfortable at all. Of course, the selling party plays a role here. But we would have liked to be kept informed and it would have been nice if Smolders had taken the minimal effort to call us back even once.
