As unfortunately more rental agents are abusing their tenants in the current market, De Raad is no exception. De Raad enters into agreements with dubious parties where a lot of money must be advanced. These parties are also not afraid to collect extra money unsolicited and with vague reasons. De Raad itself also likes to keep all the money you give them. You can assume that you will absolutely not get your deposit back, regardless of how neatly the property is handed over. I will advise everyone to stay as far away as possible from this party with its unpleasant and greedy employees.

Very friendly during the termination of the rental agreement for De Bloem. Afterwards, we feel misled and deceived by the real estate agent regarding (for us) important characteristics of the apartment. Had we known these things beforehand, we would not have signed! In retrospect, we should never have entered into an agreement with Raad.

Hi, Last December in 2023, my girlfriend and I rented an apartment in the Ananascomplex. During the move, we discovered that the balcony door was not properly delivered, because it could not be closed. As a result, the Raad Makelaars (Council of Real Estate Agents) were negligent. We also properly raised this issue to resolve it, and it would only happen a thick month later. A few days later, during a storm, this balcony door also flew open while in the closed position, causing the intermediate door to slam shut with a loud bang, resulting in considerable damage to the intermediate door and frame. We tried to claim that the Raad Makelaars should resolve this because they were negligent in properly delivering the balcony door. They take absolutely no responsibility as an organization and also blame us for what happened, while they are negligent in properly delivering the balcony door. We tried to keep the balcony door closed with boxes, but the balcony door repeatedly blew open. Ultimately, a month later the door was repaired, and the repairman indicated that parts were missing from the balcony door. This meant that the balcony door could never be locked. Rented a garage box. It turned out to be leaky. Had to throw everything away. Reported this multiple times. Nothing was done about it. Afterwards, cancelled the box. When returning the key, the employee said, 'This box is neatly and dry,' while the wall was soaking wet. Was therefore completely unaware. We have to wait 4 weeks for the deposit back. We cancelled last month's rent. This was discussed via telephone. They were supposed to inquire about it. We haven’t received a callback yet. It has now been 3 weeks and another phone call later. Received an immediate notification that we still need to pay rent. Very sad service.

Very bad experience with communication and reliability. I showed serious interest in a business unit at ROBSWAART Bedrijfshuisvesting B.V., but the communication was outright dramatic. Getting telephone contact was almost impossible: I was put on hold for a week and always got the same automated message with “Can I call you back?”, without ever being called back. Moreover, making appointments was particularly difficult. Despite the fact that I immediately indicated that I would like to rent the unit and I was clearly earlier than other interested parties, they subsequently had conversations with another party. As a result, I never got a fair chance, while I was clearly and seriously from day one. Very unprofessional and unreliable. Based on this experience, I can absolutely not recommend this company.

It takes a lot of effort to be positive about this company. The people are nice, but there's really no interest in the customer and communication is very abrupt. When defects occur in the property, the preferred solution is to fix it with a piece of tape, and they do nothing about bigger problems while you continue to pay rent faithfully. They don't address the kitchen block being soaked with water, but during the last inspection, they casually say - 'Oh, but that one is from 1980! It’s going anyway!' The gas stove was stored in the house and they had the audacity to say it's too dirty from use (which is funny because that's how it was on day 1). MY ADVICE: take photos during the first inspection so you have real proof. They come back with a response 5 years after the review?! This shows just how much they care about things. A nice charm offensive. In a response to their answer: nothing was 'thrown' at the restaurant chef, we received an assignment from Eigen haard to clean the balcony and railing, which we did with water and a brush. And yes, there are some splashes. But the attitude they repeatedly adopt is, to put it mildly, negligent. And then act like everything’s fine afterwards. 👍

Lived well in a nice house for a reasonable price (rent). Poor experience with communication and keeping to agreements, resulting in us agreeing to a compromise after withholding part of our deposit, without the errors made by them regarding communication and agreements being reasonably rectified. For this reason, I would not recommend acquaintances to rent from this company. Update: Yes, reachable by phone. But do they respond to an email? No indeed. Letting the tenant decide how something is resolved and then still carrying out a repair and withholding 300 euros from the deposit without explanation or invoice, that's poor communication regarding your own home. You clearly lack any form of reflection, as can be seen in the other reviews. So yes, one-star review. I think you need to learn that you can’t always put the blame on the tenant.

You should expect that everything works in a rental house costing more than €1300 p/m. In one year, among other things, part of the roof was broken, the skylight was broken, the central heating boiler broke down, the garden gate was broken, various appliances were broken, windows that no longer close/are broken, various leaks, gas smell, sewer smell etc., it goes on and on. Eigen haard especially thinks you shouldn't complain, and increases the rent. DO NOT rent.
