My real estate agent was very knowledgeable about the matter, knew the area well, had a keen eye for detail and was pleasant to deal with.

I am very happy that I hired a buyer's agent. Steenhuis Makelaars is not a very large brokerage office. That means you are not just a number, but there is good personal contact with your designated broker who is your direct point of contact. But even when I called the office, they immediately knew who they were dealing with. Despite the fact that I ultimately found a house myself, outside of the agent, they helped me well with the handling of it. I could always go to them with questions and received meaningful tips. If I ever need a broker again, Makelaar Steenhuis is the first one I will think of!!

As a rental agent and mediator between owner and tenant, in our situation, no responsibility was taken by Steenhuis. Refusing to mediate in a case where the owner is playing power games and portraying the ultimate exploiter. It's a shame that a company like Steenhuis doesn't take responsibility and tolerates this kind of practice and doesn't dare to stand up for what's right.

Steenhuis was the selling broker in my case; I didn't have a buying broker myself. It’s always exciting to find a suitable home as a newly single person where a new life will begin. Of course, a selling broker is served by advocating for the interests of their/his client. With Steenhuis, I had two properties in mind, and one of them appealed to me more than the other for some reason. No matter how large the choice was at that moment. The process seemed smooth to me and was transparent enough. I was treated respectfully with attention to everyone’s wishes. Everyone has their own interests, but the selling broker was clear, sincere, and adhered to the protocol. Sometimes I felt that the selling broker did more for me than strictly necessary, which only helped. There was a win-win situation. My current home was worth the price, and I still enjoy it immensely. And soon with spring and summer, it will be even more enjoyable to be outdoors. I have experienced two brokers from Steenhuis, and both were in my opinion competent, representative, social, transparent, and friendly. I don’t have a definition of good, but in my dictionary, Steenhuis Makelaars is synonymous with that.
