Voordat we Elwin vonden, stond ons appartement al meer dan een jaar te koop bij twee andere makelaars, maar we hadden slechts een paar bezichtigingen en geen enkel bod ontvangen. Toen Elwin onze woning in de verkoop nam, zorgde hij direct voor nieuwe bezichtigingen met serieuze kopers. I had a very strange phone conversation with them. I said that I wanted to know more about the details and prices of their purchase agent. They invited me to their office, but I said that I would rather have a brief overview by phone, because I am quite busy and live far away. Then they said: 'We only give prices at the office. Are you looking for the cheapest service? We are not cheap on the market.' I asked, surprised, whether they had a transparent pricing policy or if their prices varied per person, and the answer was quite strange: 'No, I don't have a transparent pricing policy; that's just how I work.' That was enough for me to understand what kind of business they run.

We had to call every time. Didn't have the idea that they were making an effort. The house sold anyway. They didn't even bother to remove the board from the façade.
