I would rather live on the street than rent a house from Lucas Klamer again. Truly the worst rental experience I've ever had.

Real estate agent Lucas Klamer is a calm, expert real estate agent who knows what he's talking about. I experienced the support with the sale of the house as very pleasant!

A reliable and calm real estate agent with extensive knowledge of the market. No quick sales pitches or social media show, but simply an involved NVW real estate agent who helps you expertly with buying and/or selling a house.

What nonsense reviews! Lucas Klamer is an excellent landlord. Our rooms and the communal areas are well maintained, and skilled tradespeople are quickly brought in when there are problems. In short: very satisfied!

Easy contact and data exchange through a portal. All-in concept for a fixed percentage. House sold quickly and guidance up to and including the transfer at the Notary. Quick answers to questions every time.

Good and open communication. A lot of interest from potential buyers. Good guidance. The spacious view and the facilities around the house played a major role. The forums via Funda were excellent.

Words cannot describe how unprofessional and bad this rental company is, especially Lucas Klamer himself. He is extremely unprofessional and doesn't seem to make any effort for his work.

I would not recommend anyone to work with this ‘enterprise’, even now that the housing crisis in Groningen continues. Mr. Klamer has a tendency to avoid contact, especially when it comes to finances. In my case, the down payment was not returned more than 3 months after leaving the rental property despite the absence of any obligation regarding damages etc. Furthermore, reporting damage to properties is also problematic; there are simply no responses.

Luuk was the property manager for the owner. During the years, we have had communication via email. As a tenant, I have had a positive experience with him. Generally, I feel that I can trust him.

People, do NOT go into the sea with this man! Communication isn't bad, but simply not present. Mr. doesn't keep appointments and tries to rip you off wherever possible.

If I could give minus 5 stars, I would. I have lived in a shared apartment for more than 4 years and managed my Klamer. I stayed there because it was good enough for the Groningen situation. However, Klamer entered our house without notice (illegally), even went so far as to simply open the door and walk into our rooms, but denied that, even though other roommates saw him do it. Repairs took forever and only came to a satisfactory conclusion after much insistence on our part, and were usually 'half-baked' (not properly executed). One and a half years after I moved out, I still haven’t received my full deposit back, without any reason. Don't be fooled: he responds quickly, is friendly and attentive at first, gets you to sign, and takes your money (you don't have to let him withdraw the money from your account, you can simply transfer it yourself, although he will tell you otherwise, check the law), but once he has your money, he would rather ignore you than care about his tenants. The positive thing is that I generally enjoyed it very much, but that was mainly due to my roommates and our sense of humor.

Very fast and friendly service. I used both their website and search function in an emergency to find accommodation, and they performed well on both fronts. They were also very attentive and helpful throughout the entire process, and moreover, they found suitable accommodation quickly. A real recommendation.

Awesome! They found an apartment for me within a week. I had been looking for months myself. A miracle! They sent me several offers, came to see me, met the landlord, and arranged the room for me. I don't know how I would have managed without them. I can recommend them 100%, they are very professional and nice, and they respond extremely quickly (sometimes down to the minute). Professional help in quickly finding accommodation

I rented for a year through Maxx. Positive: they always respond quickly and politely to emails, which was nice. Less positive: the apartment was not ready for occupancy at delivery (no CV, no hot water in the shower, incorrectly installed). So I couldn't actually live in the apartment during the first month. There was a lot of email contact and uncertainty about how the hired handyman would handle things, causing quite a bit of stress. Eventually, compensation was given for this month. It turned out there was also a gas leak that had been there before my move-in. Probably occurred during the installation of the floor heating. Despite my urgent request to bring in a professional (and obviously my own sense), they did not do so, but fortunately, the handyman eventually solved it properly. Now almost six months after moving out, I received an additional charge of €244 for service costs, while I had already been paying €175 (!) per month as a deposit for one person (no shared spaces, structural cleaning and furniture). Due to the shared meter, I also paid for my neighbors' consumption. After filing a justified complaint, I only had to pay €150. Nice, but unclear why they settled on this amount. I paid it to be done with the 'trouble,' but it didn't feel right at all. Especially since I always lived very frugally myself, precisely to avoid high costs. In short: good communication, but poor delivery, unclear costs and no professional approach to a gas leak.

Working with Maxx Groningen to find a student room for my daughter was super easy. They communicated the costs well in advance, kept us informed about all developments, and ensured that my daughter could get a nice student room in Groningen. A real recommendation!

I was an international student who lived in the house for approximately 9 months during the 2022-23 academic year. I haven't really had the time and capacity to write a review until now. It was quite a terrible experience, which started on day one of my move. When I moved in, the kitchen was a mess (I have attached a video of the kitchen when I first entered the house). The countertop was full of empty bottles, crumbs, and stains, etc. The trash cans in the backyard were quite full. There was waste piled up next to the trash cans. It took four hours for one of my roommates and me to clean the kitchen. We couldn't keep up with the garbage collection because there was still waste from the previous tenants. There were two abandoned containers in the backyard that were no longer accepted by the municipality. Omrin told me that those containers hadn’t been accepted for a year. Those containers were still full of trash when I moved in and made an appointment with Omrin to pick them up. During my stay, I had to contact the real estate agent, Robert, several times, but mostly I received slow responses from him, sometimes he didn't respond to my emails at all. As slow as a week or two. I remember that my roommates and I sometimes asked him the same question, and then he would only answer my roommates. I received no response after sending multiple emails at different times. Once, after moving out, I asked him to hold a letter for me because it was important and I wasn't in the Netherlands at the time. I asked if he could refer me to a contact person who lives in that house so I could talk directly with them about picking up my letter. He said he could hold it for me, but after a while he told me I could just ring the doorbell and ask for the letter. I stood at the door several times until someone was home. But everything was cleaned up and my letter was nowhere to be found. Honestly, that’s not even the biggest problem. It's still an example of how irresponsible a real estate agent can be. The worst thing about this situation is that our deposit was withheld without a valid reason. As mentioned above, the house was full of trash on the day we moved in. We couldn't empty the containers on the day we left, and it’s not our responsibility to do so if they remain. Apparently, Robert thought otherwise. I paid a € 385 deposit and he returned € 274.12 to me. I asked for the bill to check whether we had consumed more gas, water, and electricity than we had paid for, but he didn't send me the exact bill. I sent him multiple emails requesting a refund, but he kept dodging providing the documents. I asked him why the deposit was withheld, and he said that he had to pay for cleaning up the trash. Well, excuse me, then why was the house such a mess when we moved in? It’s been almost a year since this happened, but it still irritates me. I have attached screenshots of our conversation on WhatsApp. When I sent him the video I made when I arrived there, and also the video that belongs to this response, he claimed it wasn't true. Then he sent me a screenshot of a video he took of the house in June 2022, showing me the video when he visited. He claimed the photo showed what the house looked like on the day we moved in. That’s really nonsense. This guy didn’t even try to mention the recording date. I moved out on August 31, 2022, and he showed me a screenshot of a video he took in June 2022. He said it was exactly what the house looked like when we moved in. This was the WORST rental experience of my life. I sought legal advice and they said that the contract was very tricky. Some articles were removed but remained ominous. The advisor also said that he knew we wouldn’t pay for the legal service to sue him, because it would cost more than the amount we lost.

Beware of this fraudulent landlord. (See also the news report on sikkom) Robert Ternede is a known scammer in Groningen and does not hesitate to threaten with violence when payment is late.

Terrible office. No respect, no expertise. Beware of those old geezers.

Very rude and unfriendly, with a lack of knowledge. The two older couples were the worst people I have encountered in the Netherlands. If you are looking for a house, do not contact this agency.
