The junior broker's response to my comment that I didn't think it was nice that we weren't on the same page was that we weren't aligned. Well, if you pursue a murky negotiating policy with amounts like these involved, then we really aren’t on the same page. A better reaction would have been to admit that you should have played your cards more openly from the start. Leaves a bit of a nasty taste in my mouth.
