Wat zijn wij blij met deze makelaar. Gewoon een heel professioneel kantoor met een sterk team dat echt weet waar ze het over hebben. Ze kennen de markt goed, schakelen snel en houden je overal netjes van op de hoogte. Daarnaast zijn ze ontzettend vriendelijk en betrokken, wat het hele proces echt prettig maakte. Voor ons op alle punten een dikke 10. Absoluut een aanrader.

Makelaardij van der Houwen heeft mij goed geholpen bij de aankoop van mijn woning. Vooral Juliët speelde hierin een grote rol, maar ook via de app werd ik regelmatig geholpen door Lies. Omdat veel communicatie via WhatsApp liep, wist ik soms niet precies met wie ik sprak, maar ik kwam altijd goed en snel verder. Wat ik vooral waardeerde, is dat ze actief meedachten. Zo wezen ze mij op een woning die ik op Funda eigenlijk al had afgeschreven. Ik ben er toch gaan kijken, en uiteindelijk is dat juist de woning geworden die ik heb gekocht. Achteraf heel blij dat ze me die kant op hebben gestuurd.

Wij zijn ontzettend tevreden over Makelaar van der Houwen en de begeleiding tijdens de verkoop van ons huis. Vanaf het eerste contact voelde het vertrouwd: helder, rustig en inhoudelijk sterk. Geen loze beloftes, maar realistische verwachtingen en een duidelijke strategie. De communicatie was altijd snel en prettig, we werden continu goed meegenomen in het proces en er was oog voor detail, van de presentatie van de woning tot de begeleiding tijdens bezichtigingen en onderhandel…

The ratio between costs and performance is out of balance: for one of the highest commissions in Groningen, I expected that the service would clearly stand out. That didn’t happen. The initially presented “unique sales strategy” was part of the reason to choose this office specifically, but it changed during the process without compensation either in price or approach. Moreover, my own agent unexpectedly went on vacation halfway through the selling process, making the guidance impersonal and fragmented. Not unimportantly, the final selling price also did not match the forecast. Overall, Van der Houwen does not offer added value that justifies the high costs.

Jacco van der Houwen is a very experienced & innovative real estate agent. Additionally, he has a pleasant personality. His expectations regarding the sale of our house were exactly met.

First appointment handled nicely, a search profile was set up and it was indicated that we would try to attend every viewing. We neatly prepared all the documents at home and requested some additional information regarding the contract. In the meantime, we planned some viewings ourselves, but out of 6, they couldn't accommodate us for a single one. This already raised some question marks for us. Ultimately, we planned another viewing together in a nice house. All info was sent. We only had to send IDs afterwards. Then I received a call in the afternoon that they wanted to return the assignment, and that it wasn’t working out with our search profile and that the 2 real estate agents are very busy. I think that's quite remarkable because this search profile was clearly communicated from the start. A shame about the time we put into it.

Unfortunately, no stars for this worthless group of people. They've never heard of communication. And furthermore, it’s truly all trickery and deceit. And making an appointment is impossible because they are always somewhere else or at a different time. My advice: never do business with these people; it seems nice in the first conversation, but then the misery begins. I rented a building from them for a lot of money. I received the guarantee that everything would function, but everything was closed due to bankruptcy. Poor (read none) external communication, and internally the same, even had an argument on the phone with a lady who works there about one of her colleagues Job, who she says is called Joop, however important that may be. I hear from real estate agents in the city that Finesse operates at the edge of the market, and the stories I mentioned are common knowledge. Meanwhile, the location has another owner, and they haven't communicated anything about that either. So DO NOT do business with them. There were 2 A4 sheets with defects where nothing was done about it. Moreover, the installation company doesn’t want to come anymore because Finesse hasn’t paid the bill.
