The first time I got to know the lady from this company was extremely positive. Unfortunately, it turned out soon that the opposite was true: very difficult to deal with regarding issues about the house. The problem was always shifted onto our shoes. Once she was convinced, the problem was quickly resolved. In addition, according to our lease agreement, pets were prohibited and she is genuinely convinced that she can take measures against keeping pets without there being any nuisance at all. Legally, this is not the case, but madam had a nice self-invented theory. It was about guinea pigs. All in all: with this actress I don't need to have anything more to do.

I have collaborated with REC Vastgoed to find a temporary rental property and the purchase of a house. I think Annelies (the owner) is very involved and customer-oriented. She thinks along well, acts quickly and is easily accessible. If someone is looking for a temporary rental property in Groningen, I always refer them to REC Vastgoed.

We hebben een zeer slechte ervaring gehad met dit verhuurbedrijf. Blijf er ver vandaan! Ze waren erg onprofessioneel in hun gedrag bij het inchecken, in tegenstelling tot wat ze bij het uitchecken deden. We hebben onze borg voor het gehuurde huis niet teruggekregen. Ze zeiden dat het niet hun verantwoordelijkheid was om de borg te regelen of met de eigenaar te overleggen. Hun vriendelijke houding verdween zodra het huis verhuurd was.

VERMIJD DIT TEN ALLE KOSTEN!! Deze mensen zijn niet eerlijk. Ze hebben de aanbetaling aangenomen en nemen al 3 maanden de telefoon niet op. Ze maken misbruik van buitenlanders die naar Groningen komen om te werken, schande!

I can't even begin to tell it, because it would never end. We had a female realtor, I don’t think it’s legal for me to name her... It was the worst experience we ever had within a 'professional relationship'. Besides our realtor doing absolutely nothing but being incredibly rude, they ultimately also scammed us. It's a very long story, in which we live in a mouse-funded house where nothing worked and in which we constantly struggle to get out of this situation. We all found a new house a few months ago, but we are still paying rent and realtor fees (or whatever it is, we don’t know) for an empty house because they didn't want to let us go. The biggest problem was that they gave us a translated contract at the beginning, but then made us sign a Dutch rental agreement that was naturally different from what we received. So you know, they milked the cow until the last drop. I also have funny stories about realtors shouting at me on the street because they THOUGHT I owed her money, because she didn’t even know what was in the contract she gave us. I'm broken that people make money from absolutely nothing and I don’t understand how they can sleep at night, knowing that they not only ruined our year and probably the next year financially, but also made my housemate depressed by having to live in what the pest controller called the worst mouse trap he had ever seen.
