The concept of Bieden & Wonen was completely new to me. I got in touch with Martin Houtzager, the sales agent at Bieden & Wonen, through a contact from the real estate industry. After an extensive explanation of their working method my interest was immediately sparked. Naturally, everyone who is selling their home wants to achieve the best possible price. The process of (over)bidding is completely transparent. Outside the system we have chosen, the support provided by Martin was also experienced as very positive. We were not an average customer, living in Curacao and due to a medical issue could not come to the Netherlands. The entire sales process was a one-two between Curacao and Alkmaar and this with a 5 hour time difference.
