Don't go into business with this real estate agency. Everything they say they will do (but don't) you can better do yourself. Agreements and commitments are not honored. And even when you verbally agree to cancel the assignment, they refuse to refund the paid amount (in this case €500,-). If you still want to look for a real estate agent? Choose one of the many others, because this one couldn't be worse. Update following hypocritical response from owner: Why don’t you mention that we contacted you and came to the office for a meeting after not having heard anything for half a year? And that we still didn’t hear anything from you afterwards? And that it was promised that refunding of the €500 was always possible, and now suddenly isn't? And why don’t you want to specify on what basis you believe you incurred these costs? And I haven't even mentioned that your 'unique system' (which every NVM real estate agent uses) doesn't work as promised, as demonstrated multiple times with examples.

Frank Hofstede came to visit us to make an offer for the sale. We had already had 2 other real estate agents over, and wanted to compare carefully. During the conversation, we already noticed that a personal, relaxed atmosphere arose. He explained everything well based on his documentation that Frank had brought along. Ultimately, Hofstede en Kamp was the most expensive of the 3 but we have no regrets about that. They hire a professional photographer (Karin), who specializes in photographing houses and interiors. The photos taken really stand out when you compare them to other homes for sale at the same time. Our expectations were also high. We paid slightly more than with another real estate agent, and of course wanted value for money. A week later, the house was listed on Funda and that very day there were already interested viewers, who were immediately scheduled in consultation with us. All we had to do was tidy up the house and the realtor (Bob) conducted the viewings. After each viewing, we received a phone call and were informed what the viewers thought of it. We also saw a note appear after each viewing in our personal environment that was created for us at Hofstede & Kamp. In total, our house was for sale for 6 weeks and we are very happy with the result.
