The day before yesterday, we had a very unpleasant experience with Eva Hoek, realtor at van Ekeren and Kuiper Culemborg. At 3:47 PM, we submitted an offer, and the bidding was to close at 4:00 PM. At 4:11 PM, I was called to say that we had the winning bid and that the house was ours. An hour later, I was called again with the message that someone else had still managed to submit another, higher bid precisely at 4:00 PM, with the offer coming in via email and through a different email address. Quite a very strange coincidence indeed. Incidentally, it is also odd that as a realtor you don't properly check your mailbox at 4:00 PM and before making people happy who have been searching for a home to buy for half a year. Nu benieuwd hoe een loting gaat, want interesse is groot en er is gunning op de appartementen. Echter te weinig transparantie hier en te veel zucht naar maximaal vangen..... verkoop per inschrijving voor hoogste bieder.....tja daar hadden de verkopers echt duidelijk in moeten zijn tijdens adverteren ! Had ons een rit en teleurstelling bespaard .......maar de intentie hier was klaarblijkelijk maximaal volk lokken. Tel daarbij een vage plek van parkeren voor de 2 grote appartementen en oh ja, nog een klein plekje voor een berginkje van 1,5x1,5 m voor een app van pakweg een kleine 5 ton. Succes hoor......
