With Duinstra Melis, the most expensive real estate agent in Friesland. We can understand that they need to make money, but on top of their generous commission come all sorts of extra costs. Additionally, hardly any time was taken for us. I advise to ask enough quotes. We sold our house within a week with a colleague and that for half the price that Duinstra Melis wanted to calculate for us.

Unfortunately, we also experienced many disappointments. For example, the styling advice was not provided as agreed upon, the photographer was hired without the promised styling products, appointments were rescheduled multiple times (which cost us extra days off and childcare), viewers were initially turned away because it did not fit in the schedule, and potential buyers were insufficiently informed about offers and pending matters. This even led to a high bid being withdrawn. We engaged the real estate agent precisely to take care of these issues for us, but we had to push and correct many things ourselves. Overall, we found that the service provided did not match the commission and start-up costs.
