Unfamiliar with real estate agents in Leeuwarden, we had contacted three different agencies. The first impression is often the most important. In that regard, SUZ Makelaars did not score very well with us. Therefore, the choice to start a sales process with them did not fall on SUZ. We wish you further more success.

Since the end of 2019, we as a family had been looking for a new detached house. In this crazy market, with a generous budget, we kept coming up short. We first offered the asking price, then slightly more, and every time thereafter more without any knowledge. What else could we possibly do to get a home? During a viewing of a property, we came into contact with SUZ Makelaars with Janina as the selling broker. Despite not acquiring this property, SUZ Makelaars remained in our minds due to the pleasant, professional and accessible way of communication. In October 2020, after yet another disappointment regarding a home, we decided to look for a buyer's agent. But is that really necessary? Or is it a waste of money? Google is your best friend and you are lost in the maze. The little door in our minds reminded us of SUZ Makelaars and the good feeling. Should we give them a call? No risk in trying… That’s why we decided to request an informal meeting in the world of buyer's agents, which was new to us. During this conversation, the ‘rules of the game’ were explained clearly, and partly due to the sharp price ratio, a buyer's agent became a reality. Within an hour, we were connected with all employees of SUZ Makelaars. In the weeks that followed, we had regular contact and could reach out during the day (and sometimes evenings ;-)) for questions. If telephone contact was needed (or video calls), this was never a problem. In the weeks that followed, we viewed several properties together with Janina, but it wasn't meant to be yet. In January 2021, the property at Skutsje 19 came online. Ultimately, this property seemed destined for us and after a year and a half, we bought our dream home. Janina played a crucial role in this process through the use of the right tactics, good advice and contacts. In July 2021, we will receive the keys… that’s a shame… that takes long! ;-) #nopatience Looking back, we should have approached SUZ, a buyer's agent, much earlier. The X-factor for/of SUZ as a buyer's agent is the knowledge of the market, other neutral eyes looking along, the experience for deploying the right tactics but also the contacts with the brokers. We came to the conclusion that we saw different things in properties than Janina. That’s what we needed… because our desire for a home became personally greater for us, and our sharpness less.
