We had approached Beltman real estate agents to have our current house appraised, as we were looking around for something else. When we eventually found a house, there turned out to be quite a few legal complications. Rico also helped and advised us very well on this matter. This was also the reason for us to use Beltman as a selling agent when selling our current home. The lines are very short within the office; when you call, they immediately know which property and what's going on and what the status is (compliments to Anne!). Good and quick feedback after viewings from Nancy and Rico. Also, things were quickly arranged and we received input to make the best deal. Our house was therefore sold within 1.5 weeks for a good price and good conditions. In short, very satisfied!

For me, no other realtor. You can always call them for advice, they make time for you and really think with you. Because they are honest and genuine, you make the right choices.

Price/quality ratio is not right. Far too expensive for what is delivered. The value of the services provided is at most a quarter to 1/3 worth of what was on the invoice. Below are the arguments on which we have come to this assessment We engaged Beltman real estate agent for the purchase of a home: Positive: - they could respond quickly and be available for viewings in the short term. - they eventually managed to get an offer across that was accepted by the seller. - They assisted with the creation of a standard purchase agreement Negative: - during the viewing, the purchasing broker was not prepared. According to him, he wasn't sure if we were serious. - an unclear, concise justification for the bidding price. Our questions were not answered or not adequately answered, with the concluding remark that he shouldn't have sent the justification in the first place. - Advice on how to deal with agricultural zoning and changes of destination of the property to be purchased was given little or no attention. We also received no answers to our other questions regarding transfer tax and VAT issues. We had to figure everything out ourselves. - According to the real estate agent, there was no rush, we could think quietly because it would be a special object. We found out for ourselves that the property had come 'under offer' on Funda. Ultimately, the real estate agent was still able to intervene with an offer. But this has not strengthened our negotiating position. - Advice on termination clauses was also vague. To have a chance, first advice was to agree without termination clauses, then we were advised again to include a soil survey after all, noting that the chances would then be small. Ultimately, after research, we decided not to include termination clauses and that turned out well too. - After signing the purchase agreement, no contact at all until a week before transfer. - The real estate agent cannot be present at the deed of transfer with the notary because they say they are too busy with inspections. - In the initial draft of the notary's note, the brokerage fee for the purchasing broker was not included. Only a day after I had received a phone call from the notary and the selling broker, did they call me for the transfer and inspection, immediately followed by the invoice and then shortly afterwards the notification from the notary that it would be included in the transfer. I cannot shake off the impression that their inability to be present at the notary is a matter of very poor planning, and perhaps even that they simply forgot about us. Yes, they arranged the purchase, but no more than that. And to ask 5000 Euro for that... Especially when we compare this with the commitment, knowledge and involvement of our mortgage advisors and selling broker, it was really below par. So absolutely no recommendation from us for Beltman Makelaars
